Junee travel guide and discussion

Looking for a sweet treat, drop into the Junee Chocolate Factory and sample some delicious foods. Lots of history ... and great coffee.

Sometimes, the most unforgettable destinations aren't the bustling metropolises, but the quiet little towns that invite us to pause and linger. Junee, located in New South Wales, Australia, is exactly that kind of place. As spring unfolds, the landscape transforms into a breathtaking sea of vibrant yellow canola, stretching as far as the eye can see. Against the backdrop of a crisp blue sky and a gentle, cool breeze, it's a sight so stunning that no camera can truly capture its essence. Junee’s allure goes beyond the blossoms; it lies in its simple way of life. With its friendly locals, tranquil streets, and an atmosphere that turns a simple stroll or a scenic drive into a meaningful experience, the town is truly captivating. Whether you’re photographing the golden fields, sipping coffee in a cozy local café, or exploring historic landmarks that tell the community’s story, you'll find that Junee has a unique magic all its own. Please remember to enjoy the beauty of these fields responsibly. Avoid entering private farmland and stick to designated areas for photography to ensure these stunning vistas are preserved for others to enjoy. If you’re searching for a short getaway filled with nature, fresh air, and picturesque views, put Junee on your list. You might just find that true happiness is tucked away in this small town, right in the heart of the blooming canola fields. 💛

Sweet Finds & Farm Feels: Exploring Junee's Strawberry Goodness 🍓 I made the drive out to Junee and hit up one of the yummiest spots in the region—the Strawberry Farm! Seriously, if you’re looking for a chill countryside adventure filled with local flavor, you’ll love this one. Must-See in Junee: Strawberry Farm (Junee Licorice & Chocolate Factory precinct, 45-61 Lord St, Junee NSW 2663; usually open daily, 9am–4pm). Roam the rows of juicy strawberries that you can pick straight off the plants—nothing beats their fresh-from-the-farm taste (way better than any supermarket haul!). Pro tip: Get there early, especially on weekends, so you can pick the ripest berries and beat the crowd. Bring a hat and sunscreen—the sun hits different among those green rows! If you have little ones, small baskets are provided and it’s super family-friendly. When you’re done, pop into the nearby Licorice & Chocolate Factory for unique treats, fresh coffee, and some handmade sweets to take home. Getting Around: A car is the best way to reach Junee and explore at your own pace. There’s free parking on-site. Food: Aside from snacking on your strawberry haul, grab lunch at the factory café (inside the same precinct) for simple local bites and excellent coffee. Extra Tips: June is peak strawberry season—plan your trip then for max flavor. Bring some containers if you want to take extra berries home! #JuneeEats #FarmToTable #StrawberryPicking #NSWTravel #tripdotcom

The only newly opened library in Suwon is conveniently located near my home and there are new shopping areas nearby.

The view from the mountaintop was absolutely stunning.

Did you know there are hot air balloons near my house in Chuwon? #MissingNature The evening atmosphere is lovely.
