When you are in Kelheim, it is especially recommended to take a boat trip to the Kloster Weltenburg Abbey in the Danube Valley. This monastery is best known not for the magnificent Baloch-style church in the courtyard, but for the brewed beer of the monastery. The black beer won the world's best dark beer in 2004, 2008 and 2012, and the history of the abbey brewery can be traced back to 1000 years ago. Before ending this German walking tour, it is best to come to Germany for a cup of beer. As a celebration, beer is a great way to say goodbye.
