The SBB InterCity train ride itself was smooth, scenic, and super comfortable. The use of light colours and natural materials creates a pleasant and warm atmosphere. The interior is refined, with lots of light wood and leather seating. It has comfortable sofas for reading and relaxing. There is also a hotel-style day room where you can take a nap and then wake up to enjoy the magnificent view of the airport from the terrace. It is an ideal place to relax. Impressive wine selection including local wine from Landolt Weine in Zurich, other local schnapps, local beer, really special. The same goes for food. The menu is excellent, offering options to suit all tastes and preferences, including vegetarian options. We tried several appetizers and entrees and were very pleased with the quality, taste and presentation. What’s even more exaggerated is that even cheese stew can be eaten. The staff provide excellent service and ensure you have everything you need for comfortable seating, lodging and eating.

We stayed one night at Hyatt Place at The Circle near Zurich International Airport, booking through booking.com. The confirmation came via email instantly, payment was hassle-free, and we were warmly welcomed upon arrival. The hotel is just a short 3-4 minute walk through The Circle to the airport, with clear signage leading the way. There are plenty of restaurants, supermarkets, and coffee shops nearby for convenience. The lobby, as well as the restaurant and bar on the ground floor, offered numerous spots to unwind. Our room was cozy and well-equipped, featuring a two-seater sofa, a small round table-desk with a sitting chair, TV, A/C, Wi-Fi, fridge, kettle, coffee and tea, a safe, and an iron with an ironing board. The bathroom was also spacious. Overall, this is a great airport hotel, perfect for relaxing before an early flight. We would happily stay here again.

This reminds me of Cairo, where Hyatt placed both hotels in the exact same spot—a setup that isn’t particularly useful to me. For guests without Hyatt status, Hyatt Place might be a decent choice when traveling solo, but there are alternatives like the Radissons, which are often cheaper than Hyatt Place.

The rooms were fantastic, as were the ambience and location. It's within walking distance to the airport, though there's a bit of a walk from where cars or buses drop you off. Check-in ✅ First, if you're using Swiss Air, you'll need to print your own baggage tag from a machine and attach it to your luggage, then line up at the dedicated counter! After checking in your baggage, you'll proceed to security! ⚠️ It gets extremely crowded in the early morning, so arrive at the airport early! This time, I waited in line at the counter for about 40 minutes! At Zurich Airport, even if you've checked in online, if you have checked baggage, you still need to line up at the dedicated manned counter to drop off your luggage, so allow plenty of time! After Security Check 🔍 This is extremely important! I made a mistake here and panicked!
