Driving up north for the first time was adventurous, but I was so happy! I got to visit temples, cafes, take photos, stroll around, and relax. 😍 🗓️ 4-Day, 3-Night Travel Plan 📍 Day 1: Bangkok – Lampang 🚗 Depart early at 5:00 AM with a big cup of coffee ☕ 🕑 Arrive in Lampang in the late afternoon and drive slowly. 📸 Stop by Wat Phra That Doi Phra Chan for the stunning views. Don't miss it if you're a spiritual lover. 🌆 Evening, stroll along Kad Kong Ta Walking Street for its plentiful food and warm atmosphere. 🍲 Stop for some delicious, inexpensive, and delicious rice porridge (one baht), a rare find. 🏨 Relax at At Home Boutique for a relaxing and friendly atmosphere. 💤 📍 Day 2: Lampang – Lamphun – Chiang Mai 🙏 Start the day by paying respects at Wat Sri Chum. 📍 Originally planned to visit Wat Phra That Lampang Luang. But it was closed on the day I went, what a shame! I'll be back again! 📸 Stopped to take photos at the classic pink-painted white bridge~ ⛩️ Stopped to pay respects at Phra That Hariphunchai in Lamphun, a temple that's a symbol of the city. 🚗 Drove straight into Chiang Mai. My usual place to stay is... 🏨 Hop Inn Chiang Mai because it's clean, good price, has parking, and is super convenient. 🩵 📍 Day 3: A sweet and luxurious Chiang Mai 🌄 Early in the morning, head up the mountain to Wat Phra That Doi Suthep to pay respects and pray. 🏨 Check in for a luxurious stay at The Inside House, a beautiful accommodation with a stunning waterfall in the middle of the house. 🍰 Afternoon tea was plentiful! The desserts and tea were so good, we didn't want to leave. 📸 In the evening, we stopped to take photos at Uncle Ron's flower garden is so vibrant and beautiful no matter how you photograph it. 🚶♀️ Strolling around Tha Phae Gate at night is so romantic and a truly enjoyable walk. 💤 Tonight, sleep tight in this special atmosphere. 📍 Day 4: Chiang Mai – Bangkok 🍳 Breakfast at The Inside House is the ultimate in both taste and atmosphere. 📸 End your trip at Wat Umong, beautiful, mysterious, and charming. 🚗 Then, drive back to Bangkok with fond memories. 💓 🌟 For those who want to try driving up north for the first time, the Lampang – Lamphun – Chiang Mai route is the answer!
