I wanted to visit the Lake District in England, so I took a trip there during Golden Week. Because the Lake District gets a lot of rain, I stayed there for a long time, about five days, and spent it leisurely. Even though I stayed there for five days, there wasn't a single sunny day, it was just rain, rain and gloom, and the blue sky never made an appearance. I booked a local tour from Japan to visit several lakes, but I only remember not being able to see any of the lakes because of the rain, but the atmosphere of the town was very nice and I was able to spend a relaxing time there. I'd like to go back and try again someday. #WorldHeritage

Driving through the lake district in our van was so memorable, but what we loved most was stopping at lakes like this to shoot the autumn colours!

Today's main destination is the Lake District. The lake area is undoubtedly the most popular national park in the UK, but for those who grew up on the lake, the poor weather in the Lake District is still somewhat disappointing. Bowness on Lake Windermere, with a number of tearooms, ice cream stalls, restaurants and souvenir shops, more like the old-fashioned British seaside resort. But Keswick, the northernmost part of the Lake District, is a good choice, with the best and most beautiful location. Surrounded by misty hills, the beautiful island of Derwent is dotted with islands. The town is very British and very suitable for taking pictures. It is recommended not to miss it.

The cloudy lake is far worse than the sunny day. Take a boat trip to another dock to change to a steam train. The carriage has been a few years old and has a feeling of the 18th century. I have to add coal to each of the coal-burning locomotives, and take my head out of the window to take pictures of my half-body cinder. #springitinerary This Lake District walk was anything but ordinary — craggy outcrops, babbling springs, and bursts of wildlife made every step an adventure. The trail weaved through heather-covered hills, where I spotted several little field mice darting in and out of their tiny holes — a charming surprise! The sound of water trickling over rocks added to the peaceful atmosphere, while the rugged landscape made the route feel wild and immersive. It’s the kind of walk that keeps your eyes open and your spirit lifted.

From london to the Irish lands- Travelled with family and friends and took the land and water routes (car and ship) Recommended as you can go at your own pace soaking in the great views. Water parks and kids play areas available closeby for family fun days. We stayed in a caravan hotel and did bbq which was the most memorable and fun part of our trip.

We stayed in Yha windermere hostel and it was worth it, Tip1. Buses comes after 1-2 hour, plan it before head and few days doesnt run as well. Tip2. Around 5 most places are closed, start early Tip3. If you are with elders or kids and doesnt have car than opt for lakeside taxis app and it was convenient or if alone you can get cycle from the station and keep your luggage around the area Tip4. Dont forget to visit gingermere for ginger bread, only they make it. Tip5. Must try sticky toffee pudding, we did at amberside. Tip6. You should try elderflower sparkling water, i personally liked it.
