Perth Summer 2026
Ready to unlock the best of Perth in summer 2026? 🌴☀️ Here’s how I spent my sunny days and neon nights, hopping between palm trees, riverside architecture, carnival lights, and dessert bars.
Top tip: Perth is peak in summer, think blue skies and epic sunset views over skyscrapers!
Must-See Places in Perth & Burswood
1. Elizabeth Quay (The Esplanade, Perth WA 6000) – Open 24/7.
Soak up the city vibes by the water, snap pics of modern skylines framed by palm trees, and don’t miss the Bell Tower. At dusk, check out the Terracotta Warrior lanterns. Catch the ferry to South Perth for a breezy ride and a different skyline angle!
2. Crown Towers Perth (Great Eastern Highway, Burswood).
Treat yourself to luxury with river views, dreamy bathtubs, and a breakfast buffet that’s pure food heaven. Pool is legendary! The location’s ideal for zipping into the city or straight from the airport, public transport is super easy.
3. London Court (647 Hay St, Perth WA 6000) – Mon–Fri 7am–9pm; Sat 7am–5pm; Sun 11am–5pm.
Retro shopping arcade meets Insta aesthetics. Go for quirky snaps and check out cute boutiques.
4. Art Gallery of Western Australia (Perth Cultural Centre) – Wed–Mon 10am–5pm. FREE general admission!
A chill, air-conditioned break packed with creativity, perfect if you need to dodge the midday sun.
5. Supreme Court Gardens (2 Barrack St, Perth WA 6000) – Night carnival rides until Jan 18th.
Evening carnival rides, festive crowds, and riverside strolls.
6. Hit the local beaches for stunning, clear, clean turquoise water! We visited Shoalwater (difficult by public transport) and got açai bowls. Try Cottesloe Beach, South Beach, Scarborough Beach or City Beach if you want closer-to-the-city options! #beach #acai
Pro Perth Tips:
🚍 Getting Around: Use Transperth for local buses and trains.
You can purchase a familyrider ticket which covers all Transperth trains, buses and ferries all day for 2 adults and up to 5 children!
The CAT buses are free to get around the city.
The ferry is a must for river views!
🍽️ Eat & Chill: Hit Leederville’s Sakura Bar for bingsu (icy-sweet, melt-in-your-mouth Asian dessert). Go hungry to Crown Towers’ buffet breakfast.
💰 No visa drama for most tourists, but double-check!
