I finally visited the long-awaited Baobab. It took about an hour by car from Morondava and cost around 1000 yen. Initially, the guide said a one-day tour would cost 10,000 yen, but after some tough bargaining, I got it for less than a tenth of that price... The road to Baobab is mostly unpaved and bumpy, so I recommend taking a taxi over a tuk-tuk. Although tuk-tuks are cheaper. There are two options for the tour: sunset or sunrise.
