I stayed at Setsu Niseko this past July. The magnificent Mount Yotei rises right before the hotel, and some of the guest rooms feature massive windows offering panoramic views of the mountain. I personally loved soaking in the spectacular scenery while unwinding in the lobby. The rooms offer a calming atmosphere, enhanced by the inviting warmth of wood. They are condominium-style, fully equipped with kitchens, complete with tableware and cooking utensils. I was truly impressed by the sleek, seamless design—all the storage is beautifully built into the walls, cleverly hiding any clutter and creating a clean, modern look. Being able to enjoy a relaxing meal at the dining table is another wonderful perk. In addition to the large public bath, the hotel offers private open-air baths that you can easily reserve using the tablet in your room. I booked one for the following morning and indulged in a luxurious, peaceful soak. Even the room keys are thoughtfully designed, featuring a chic, monochrome art motif of Mount Yotei that adds a touch of sophisticated flair to every detail. Outside the windows, the natural landscape looks straight out of a painting. I was even lucky enough to spot an Ezo red squirrel during my stay. This time, a group of nine of us went skiing in Hokkaido and booked this super luxurious villa in Niseko. It is an amazing five-star hotel, very close to Niseko Mountain Resort and Niseko Annupuri International Ski Area, perfect for ski enthusiasts. The villa has two floors, is very clean, and is surrounded by tranquility. Each room is meticulously designed, featuring 4 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms. The large windows offer a beautiful view of the snowy landscape outside. The kitchen is well-equipped with coffee/tea makers, allowing you to enjoy a hot drink anytime. Additionally, there are toasters, microwaves, and dishwashers. Despite the cold weather, the entrance, drying room, bathrooms, and living/dining/kitchen areas are equipped with underfloor heating, keeping everything dry and warm. We will definitely come back next time we visit Hokkaido.
