We spent a day and night at Dinawan Resort, and it was a very enjoyable experience. The tranquility and peace of this place are incredible. The beach is equipped with sun loungers, hammocks, and swings under the trees. The tents where you stay are simple but furnished with everything you need, including air conditioning. Meals are served under a patio and are delicious—some of the best we've had in Malaysia and Borneo. The staff is extremely kind and helpful; they organize snorkeling trips, short sunset walks, and evening bonfires with marshmallows. Unfortunately, part of the island is occupied by construction for a new hotel, but from the resort, nothing can be seen or heard to disturb the serenity. If you're looking for a stay away from the usual tourist spots, Dinawan is pure poetry.

there were barely any people who stayed there, i felt like it was just me and my friend that day. but still, the resort was nice and big. tye staffs were also friendly and helpful. the beach was clean and had really strong wind. overall it was still a good place to escape from the busy city world.
