Day 4️⃣
A few days ago, I booked a Chiang Rai temple tour via for 💰 4,000 rubles. The driver picked me up at the time specified in the voucher, and we traveled by minibus with other tourists to the neighboring city, famous for its unique and beautiful temples.
· The first stop was the Mae Khachan Hot Springs in Chiang Rai, located in what locals say was once a virgin forest.
· Not far from the Myanmar border, about 3-4 hours from Chiang Mai and the hot springs, is the Long Neck Karen Village. After exploring the village, chatting with locals, and buying a souvenir made by their artisans, we move on.
· The icing on the cake is the 🤍White Temple🤍 of Chiang Rai. The white, sun-shimmering peaks of the temple are visible right from the highway and make your heart race with delight. We spent 1.5 hours exploring before moving on.
· An equally beautiful and colorful spot just 30 minutes from the White Temple is the 💙Blue Temple💙. It is stunningly beautiful and unique. The photos here are gorgeous, especially with the pearl Buddha in the background 😍. You have 1.5 hours to explore and photograph the temple inside and out.
· Having had our fill of beauty, we continue to the final point of our journey—the Golden Triangle, located at the confluence of three countries: Thailand, Laos, and Myanmar. After a boat ride and learning the history of the place, we are dropped at the pier, load into the car, and head back to Chiang Mai.
· 22:50 flight from Chiang Mai to Bangkok.
💰 Ticket price purchased via — 3,400 rubles.
This concludes my journey through Northern Thailand, but new places in this beautiful country await.
Day 5️⃣
· 01:10 arrival in Bangkok. My pre-ordered transfer is already waiting to take me to the Poonsuk Place Hotel. I chose it specifically for its walking distance to Wat Arun. The location is magnificent, and the hotel is excellent—highly recommended! Everything was booked via .
💰 Airport-to-hotel transfer cost — 1,500 rubles.
Poonsuk Place Hotel
📍 Address: 263, 6 Arun Amarin Rd, Siriraj, Bangkok Noi, Bangkok 10700, Thailand.
💰 Cost for one night: 1,850 rubles.
After sleeping until 08:00 AM, I get up for breakfast, get ready, and head to the Thai Glam Studio, which is eight minutes from the hotel and five minutes from Wat Arun. They quickly picked out a national costume based on my preferences and did my makeup and hair. I’m ready! The photographer and his assistant take various accessories for the dress and lead me to the temple to take beautiful photos that will warm my heart and soul for years to come. The photographer and his assistant were very attentive, helping with posing and accessories. Highly recommend them. Everything was ordered via 🫶.
Thai Glam Studio
📍 Address: 243 Thanon Wang Doem, Wat Arun, Bangkok Yai, Krung Thep Maha Nakhon 10600, Thailand.
⏰ Hours: 07:00-18:00.
💰 Total cost — 7,850 rubles.
After the photoshoot, you can stay in the costume and walk around the temple or nearby areas on your own. I walked for an hour and then went back to return the costume. The administrator took my contact info and promised to send a link to my photos within three days. I received the photos the next day. They were beautiful! I recommend this from the bottom of my heart! 😍
After changing back into my clothes, I went exploring Bangkok, a city that hides so many interesting things. First, I crossed to the other side of the river on a local ferry that runs every 15-20 minutes.
I recommend visiting The Grand Palace and the Temple of the Emerald Buddha.
📍 Address: Phra Borom Maha Ratchawang, Phra Nakhon, Bangkok 10200, Thailand.
⏰ Hours: 08:30-15:30.
💰 Ticket price — 500 Baht.
Recommendation:
· Make sure to wear clothes that cover your shoulders and knees. This applies to both men and women; otherwise, you will be denied entry to the temple.
· I recommend buying temple tickets via 🫶 to avoid standing in lines.
After some walking and lunch at a local cafe on the other side of the river, it was time to return to the hotel for my bags, which were left for free in the luggage storage at Poonsuk Place Hotel. My pre-ordered transfer via 🫶 arrived 20 minutes later to take me to the airport.
21. 15 flight to Phuket. Tickets purchased via for 2,900 rubles.
22. 40 arrival in Phuket, where my ordered transfer is waiting to take me back to the Sunstar Palace Patong. This day has come to an end.
Day 6️⃣
06. 00 wake up. Today, an azure island tour awaits 😍.
07. 00 transfer picks me up for the pier where my sea journey begins. But first, breakfast and a briefing. Then everyone is divided into groups, given wristbands, and the guide leads us to board the speedboat.
It takes about an hour to reach the first stop, Maya Bay—where the movie 'The Beach' starring Leonardo DiCaprio was filmed. The bay is of stunning beauty; the sea is so azure it looks like Photoshop. You cannot swim in the bay, only dip your feet and enjoy the surrounding nature. 30 minutes are given for sightseeing.
Next stop is Pileh Lagoon. It's a spectacular place where beautiful cliffs rise around emerald water. Here, for 500 Baht, you can rent a longtail boat to get closer to the rocks and swim in these warm emerald waters.
After plenty of swimming, our boat heads for Phi Phi Don. Here, we have sightseeing and a delicious, nutritious buffet lunch.
We ate quickly because next was another amazing island—Phi Phi Don (viewpoint). The landscapes here are so stunning they take your breath away.
After plenty of walking, we board the boat and head home. The sun sets early in Asia, so we need to reach Phuket before total darkness. On the way, we are greeted by a stunning sunset, a perfectly calm sea, and a storm of emotions in the soul from the beauty of the places seen.
18:00 I board the transfer back to my hotel. Tonight I can sleep in; I don't have to go anywhere early tomorrow.
I booked the island tour via .
💰 Cost — 3,800 rubles.
Day 7️⃣
Today the alarm is off. No need to rush, but that doesn't mean sleeping until noon.
The morning starts, of course, with relaxing on the beach while the sun isn't as dangerous as it is at midday. ❗️❗️❗️ Be sure to use SPF, even if it's cloudy.
As I mentioned before, I stayed in Patong, and there are several wonderful elephant sanctuaries here that you can walk to or reach by bike. I recommend visiting the best one:
