Their Chickenjoy is crispy perfection and the sweet-style spaghetti is pure comfort food. Pro tip: Order ahead online if you’re visiting during lunch rush—it can get busy, especially on weekends. Getting Around: Renting a car is easiest for hopping between Orlando and Pinellas County, but rideshares are solid for short distances. In Tampa, I led a very busy life, working hard in the morning and going to the beach to hunt for clams in the evening. This week, the low tide times were all around 7 or 8 in the morning. I got up early and headed to the beach to collect mussels. Although the weather has been very cloudy recently and we also experienced a hurricane, this has actually created favorable conditions for collecting shells at the beach! We visited two beaches in total. Honeymoon Island State Park, 8 dollars. It opens at 8 am, so if you try to buy tickets now, you won't be able to get in before the holders of the annual pass. We chose a weekday and immediately headed to the beach as soon as we entered. There were already many people picking up shells. Although the beach was a long stretch, there weren't many interesting shells or sea creatures to collect on that day. The place gave us a rather cramped feeling. Picture 5-8 was taken here. For the first time, I saw pictures 7 (horseshoe crab) and 8 (the big snow crab that emerged from the sea and waving its claws arrogantly). It told me that the claws are valuable and will grow back after the arm is broken. The second highlight is the Sand Key Beach. The parking lot nearby is free and there's no need for any tickets. We came on Sunday and there weren't many people collecting shells. It wasn't that crowded. As soon as you get close, you realize there's something interesting here. The entire beach is filled with shells and conch shells, making it overwhelming to collect. We even found sea stars and sand dollars. Pictures 1-4 were taken here. It was truly a fruitful trip! How much you can collect depends on the weather and luck. It's best to do it after a storm.

The recreation of history became a thing for in the moment I put my feet on this Heritage village. The people who work there are just amazing. Some of them are volunteering. Amazing experience.

Fort Desoto Beach never fails to be a place of beauty and I always see a pod of dolphins usually close to the beach. The water is usually very clear so it's a great place to bring your snorkel to see the beautiful fish life, star fish and a great place to find sand dollars. The restrooms are clean and the snack bar serves typical beach food. No alcohol but a tour of the Fort adds to your trip. There's a beautiful pier for fishing and kayak rentals also can make your time there more fun and you just might see a few manatees. It's one of my favorite beaches in the area oh don't forget to visit the gift shop too! #beachlife
