It is a structure that is placed horizontally like a bridge on top of buildings that rise like thick pillars, and if you only look at the exterior, it really looks a lot like Singapore's Marina Bay Sands. But when you actually go up close, the feeling is completely different. It is bigger, the gaps between buildings are wider, and the glass facade reflects the cityscape, so it feels like it captures the three-dimensional atmosphere of the city of Chongqing. The building is centered around a complex shopping mall called 'Raffles City', and inside, there are shops, cafes, an observation deck, and a hotel, so it is not just a tourist attraction but is used as an actual living space. I visited during the day, but this building is actually the prettiest when the sun is just starting to set, when the Huangpu River and the sky are reflected on the glass windows, rather than at night. The light rises slightly above the glass surface of the building, and when I saw it from afar, it really felt like a scene from a science fiction movie. When taking pictures nearby, the angle looking up from below is the best, and if you get too close, you won't be able to see the entire structure, so I recommend taking a picture from a distance. There are surprisingly many quiet spaces inside the shopping mall, and there are also high-class cafes, so if you have time, it's okay to go up to the observatory. Of course, the observatory is paid, but the view overlooking the river and the city center is definitely worth it. The building itself is overwhelming, so I think it's a landmark that will leave a strong impression if you see it for the first time when you arrive in Chongqing.

After Jiefangbei Pedestrian Street, we walked to Qiansimen Bridge🌉, the famous red bridge🌁that offers fantastic views of the river and city skyline. Then we visited Hongya Cave 🏯🎇— unfortunately, the lights were off when we arrived, but the architecture and vibe were still worth the visit. Must-Visit Attractions: 1. It was very cool inside. The shopping mall was quite huge with a great variety of stalls. What attracted me the most was this retro looking stall selling sweets and titbits from childhood.

Nevertheless, I wanted to come here to visit and take photos of it because of the resemblance to Marina Bay Sands of Singapore.
