Bigar Spring, quietly nestled in a valley deep in the mountains on the outskirts of western Romania
This giant rock with a moss cap protruding like a monster was so impressive that I drove my rental car all the way to this remote area just for that purpose
*It is located in a remote area with no public transport
The river was muddy due to the rain the day before I visited, but it is usually clear and clean
It was a valley where forest spirits seem to live
There is an observation deck for free if you just want to look at it from the outside
It costs a fee to look at it from the inside, and it is also a short hiking trail
By the way, at the end of the promenade there is a spring of clear water and a legendary cave with a story, which was a bit scary
*It seems that part of it collapsed in June 2021...

Unfortunately, according to Wikipedia, it said that a part of the Bigăr waterfall collapsed on 7 June 2021.

My encounter with Bigăr Falls in Romania was like stepping into a fairytale realm. Located in the Anina Mountains, this enchanting waterfall was a masterpiece of nature's craftsmanship. As I approached, the water cascading over the moss-covered rocks created a scene of pure magic. The lush greenery surrounding the falls added to the sense of wonder. Bigăr Falls' remote location and its usually accessible daylight hours made it a hidden gem waiting to be discovered. The falls weren't just a natural wonder; they were a testament to the intricate beauty that can be found in unexpected corners of the world. Bigăr Falls was a reminder of nature's artistry, leaving me awestruck and inspired.
