[Tokushima] Head to Mount Bizan, the symbol of Tokushima! Mount Bizan Ropeway
#0yentrip
This time, I took the Bizan Ropeway to the summit of Mt. Bizan, the symbol of Tokushima City. Starting from the base station on the 5th floor of the Awaodori Kaikan, it takes about 6 minutes to reach the summit at an altitude of about 290m. Inside the gondola, an explanation about Mt. Bizan and the surrounding scenery is played, and you can enjoy the scenery along with gentle music. From the summit, you can see Tokushima city, Yoshino River, and even Awaji Island and Kii Peninsula if the weather is good. The Bizan Ropeway is easily accessible from Tokushima city and is a recommended place to enjoy the spectacular view.

AWAGIN Meishan Cable Car
The AWAGIN Meishan Cable Car connects the 5th floor of the Awa Odori Hall at the base station to the summit station of Meishan at an altitude of 290 meters. The cable car runs approximately every 15 minutes, offering views of Tokushima's seasonal natural beauty, such as cherry blossoms and autumn leaves, through the windows. From the observation deck at the summit station in Meishan Park, you can enjoy not only the beautiful night view but also, on clear days, see the Yoshino River, the Awa Mountain Range, Awaji Island, and even the Kii Peninsula.
