2025 Dharan Travel Guide: Must-see attractions, popular food, hotels, transportation routes (updated in June)

We gike to Shiva jatta Dharan the temple, the waterflal and mini springs on the way were seen. The hike was of 5hours. Me and my group had a good time there. All girls trips are for real the best. There were pigstays too. Carrying water and foodis a must. Most memorable journey of my life. Was bit of an adventure. Beautiful place. The rain made it difficult for us but the view was worth the struggle. The giant water fall with water as clear as glass washed all the struggles and pain. The water was kinda therapeutic. The locals were kind and pretty helpful. We even got to experience the asadh rice plantation.

#celebrateit Chiya stands for Nepali tea and is an important part of Nepali culture. Nepali people are crazy about tea and it’s the main highlight of the day. Nepali tea is often made with strong black tea leaves boiled with milk, sugar, cardamom and ginger. It’s the best start to your morning or afternoon tea with some Nepali snacks like alu chop, samosa or Jerry. Highly recommend this place to celebrate the weekend with family and friends

#celebrateit This is sucha a peaceful and relaxing cafe with comfy seating, attentive staff. We absolutely loved the delicious food and drinks served here. The staff goes the extra mile by offering recommendations which was very sweet. I think this would be perfect spot for dates or just hanging out with friends and even enjoying your own solo time. Highly recommended to celebrate the weekend here.

Nostalgic experience, back here after 25 years was small little kid when i was here last time. Massive change, not much people here nowadays. Buddhasubba is one of main hindu temple in Dharan, publicly famous known by all the locals. Loved the peaceful experience, will definitely be back again. Miss it. #temple #Buddhasubba #Dharan
