[2025 Qingdao Attraction] Travel Guide for Dar Ing Pier (Updated May)

It's still a bit cold in Qingdao in March and April, but it's totally fine to relax and unwind by the sea for a few days! Our three-day trip started at noon every day, mainly for rest, so we didn't go to many attractions. Here's a brief overview: 🌊DAY1 Xiaoyushan Park – Luxun Park – Qinyu Road – Naval Museum – Xiao Qingdao – Tuandao Seafood Market 🌊DAY2 Laoshan Mountain (Taiqing Scenic Area) – Xiao Li Buyi Korean Restaurant – May Fourth Square 🌊DAY3 Lover's Dam – Olympic Sailing Center – Tsingtao Beer Museum – Yingkou Seafood Market ❤️Highly Recommended❤️ 🏠Accommodation: Guanlan Mansion Seaview Holiday Villa (Mixc City, May Fourth Square, Qingdao). The location is excellent, right next to the seaside promenade. We stayed in the September room, which has a huge terrace. We loved watching the sea, and you can even watch the sunrise from bed 🌅. The photos on Trip.com don't do it justice. The host is handsome and very enthusiastic. There's a coffee shop and a swimming pool downstairs, perfect for relaxing. (Although we didn't stay there, Qinyu Hai, a guesthouse on Qinyu Road, had a great vibe when we went there for coffee. Recommended 👍) 🎨Dining [One] I recommend Bobo Beer House next to Yingkou. It's run by people from Northeast China who are warm and friendly, and the prices are reasonable. The food is also very good. [Two] Shuanghe Garden's sea urchin fried rice is better than Kaihai's! [Three] You must have a Korean meal. Anyway, it's much better than in Xi'an. We went to Xiao Li Buyi and enjoyed a mouthful of cheese. So happy 😊 ⚠️Things to Avoid and Notes⚠️ 1⃣️ The prices at Tuandao Seafood Market are a bit more expensive than at Yingkou. After buying seafood in Tuandao, we were taken to a shop in the market to have it processed, and it was really bad! It made us feel like we wasted our money on the seafood! It's right across from the beer stand. 2⃣️ If you go during this season, be sure to dress warmly, especially when going to Laoshan Mountain. The fog can roll in quickly, and the wind can pick up suddenly. You'll know if you catch a cold. 3⃣️ Just buy the regular ticket for the Tsingtao Beer Museum (A+B Hall), which includes two glasses of beer and some beer beans. You can buy a noodle skin at the 1903 Bakery when you leave, which is quite delicious.

This is a great spot if you are seeking clear views of the City Skyline, the Ocean, and the Marina. This is truly a must visit, when in Qingdao. Flags from countries all around the world, fly alongside the Olympic Flags, upon your approach to the lighthouse. You can take a long relaxing walk around this area, it's open and accessible 24/7.

Qingdao on the second day of the Chinese New Year|||The weather forecast was cloudy, but the sun started to come out in the afternoon. The first day was sunny, so I went to most of the places I wanted to go. There was no special schedule for today. I went wherever I wanted. Woke up in the morning and went to Xilingxia Road and Li Weinong Park. There were many residents jogging and walking their dogs along the way. Feed the seagulls at the Zhanqiao Beach. Returned to the hotel for a rest at noon. It is recommended to stay at the Zhanqiao, which is not far from the attractions. You can go back to the hotel for a lunch break every day. According to the weather forecast, the sun will come out at 2 or 3 in the afternoon, so we walked to the pedestrian street on Sifang Road to eat. There were a lot of people and the New Year atmosphere was very strong. We had 1937, and the baked yellow croaker in a casserole was good. After eating, I took a taxi to Yanerdao Smart Park C2 Exit, walked to the right along the seaside plank road, and saw a staircase that led down to the beach after a few dozen meters. I walked to the left of the reef and saw a concave position, which was not actually a cave. People stood at the innermost part and took pictures outside, which was the Internet celebrity cave shooting spot. I arrived at 2 pm just when the tide had not risen yet. Then I went back to the drop-off point to Xinyu Coffee. On the other side was the long Lover's Plank Road. I returned along the original route and walked along the beach in the direction of the beginning for about half an hour to reach the Lover's Dam. The sun came out along the way, and the sea view was particularly beautiful. I took pictures while walking. When I arrived at the Lover's Dam, I waited for the sunset at 5 o'clock. The sky turned pink and blue. While waiting, I sat inside KFC to keep warm. It was windy at the seaside, luckily I brought a hot pack. Then we walked from Olympic Sailing to May Fourth Square, and after dinner at Mixc, we came out to watch the light show that started at 6:30. It was a perfect day. The weather in Qingdao was very kind to me. Although it was cloudy, the visibility at the seaside was quite high. In the afternoon, when the sun came out, we could watch the sunset and the sea view. The itinerary we decided on temporarily today is highly recommended. I really love Qingdao.

Qingdao Trip: A Parent-Child Experience Dancing with the Ocean Last June, my family and I spent an unforgettable three days and two nights in Qingdao. We took our children and enjoyed a leisurely and unhurried itinerary. To make the trip both fulfilling and relaxing, we chose a comfortable hotel located in the city center, close to popular attractions, ensuring the children had ample rest and we could conveniently explore this beautiful city. For accommodation, we opted for a convenient express hotel within walking distance to Qingdao Station, Zhan Bridge, and the Catholic Church, among other famous landmarks. The convenient transportation and comprehensive surrounding facilities made our travel easy and enjoyable. Our travel methods were diverse and flexible, combining subway, taxi, and bus, choosing the most suitable transportation according to the destination. Below is our exciting itinerary: Day One: We set off from Changzhou and headed straight to the hotel upon arriving in Qingdao, then went to the Olympic Sailing Center to experience the charm of sailing. At dusk, we strolled to Lover's Dam, where the pink sunset, clear seawater, and outgoing sailboats created a moving scene. As the melodies of a resident singer drifted in the breeze, the atmosphere became incredibly romantic. As night fell, we also enjoyed a stunning light show, which captivated both adults and children alike. Day Two: Early in the morning, we arrived at the filming location of 'The Best of Us' - Badaguan, and despite the crowds, we still found a great spot by the sea for photos. Next, we headed to the Third Beach, where the sand was clean, the water clear, and the tourists relatively few, making it an ideal place for the children to play to their heart's content. Day Three: On the last day, we drove to Qinyu Road, enjoying the freedom along the S-shaped bay road. The roadside rocks were scattered in an orderly fashion, as if we were in a foreign land. We also tried the local delicious ice cream, cool and sweet, putting a perfect end to our journey.
