Sichuan During Winter!
Dawa Mountain is a mountain in the Dawa Mountain National Park in the Southwest of Sichuan.
If there was snow at night, the place becomes a beautiful winter wonderland the next morning. We were lucky and shoot wonderful pictures. ❄️🏔️
📍It belongs to Leshan on an administrative level, but is far from the center. From Chengdu you ride 3,5 hours, from Leshan Center about one hour less.
🚘 No public transport available, only car.

Warm tips📄
- When ascending from below, you will pass through clouds, which may seem like bad weather. Do not lose heart, continue towards the mountain top, where you will find blue skies, white clouds, and a magnificent sea of clouds. The night sky is filled with stars✨, and the starry sky🌃 is extremely beautiful.
- Regarding shooting locations, drones can be used for scouting. Our position is right on the highway, but the clouds will drift the next day, so it is necessary to find a suitable location based on the weather☁️ conditions.
- There are no restrooms🚻 or convenience stores on the mountain, so you need to bring your own food. Although there is a farmhouse at the foot of the mountain, only one is open, and the taste is average, so it is advisable to bring your own.
- There are 3 ponds on the mountain, namely the Big Heavenly Pond, Small Heavenly Pond, and Fish Pond, among which the Big Heavenly Pond is slightly larger and better located.
