Location| LOCATION The hotel is located above the commercial complex of Xinying New City Shopping Center, downstairs is a bustling business district, near the subway Shizha Station. Compared to the other two Marriott hotels in Kunming, its location ranks first. - Room|SUITE Titanium card membership, peak season check-in, try to reserve a room with a good view on the high floor, which is already quite generous. Although it is a double bed, each bed feels very wide and can accommodate two people without any problem. The guest room is located on the high floor, and the view outside the window is the old city of Kunming. Because it is located on the Yunnan-Guizhou Plateau, the sky looks very low and the view is unique. The NIRVAE large bottle of toiletries, the same as the Courtyard, the room does not have a bathtub, non-electric toilet, but for guests who travel, it is very practical. Catering|FOOD&DRINK The breakfast is quite online. Among the many Courtyard brands I have stayed in, the breakfast of this Courtyard is highly recommended! Hotel name: Fairfield by Marriott Location: Shi Zha metro station in Kunming city. Kunming is a beautiful city in the south west of China. The hotel I recommend staying is Fairfield by Marriott…why? Because it’s modern, clean, in a great location, good beds, great breakfast and a stunning panoramic view of Kunming city. Tip: Head to the hotel via taxi or take the metro to Shi Zha station. Enter the building and go to floor 23. This is the lobby. As you explore the modern lobby, you’ll be treated to stunning views of the buildings and mountains of Kunming city. #kunming #yunnan

The most distinctive feature of this Four Points is its high-rise lobby, restaurant, and fitness center. Although the rooms are on floors 23-29, which isn't particularly high, it's still quite rare among Four Points properties. This was my first time staying at a Four Points without an online chat system, so there was no chat communication. They have a corner room with many windows and great views, but since I checked in too late, they were all allocated. Hotel membership breakfast and points are complimentary, so with the Marriott Q1 promotion, the total cost was just over 300 yuan, making it good value for money! The room comes with bathrobes, and the bedding is comfortable, though the pillows offer average support. The minibar includes two complimentary 330ml Cokes. Food delivery can be conveniently brought to your room by a robot. The Yunnan rice noodles at breakfast received positive reviews from everyone. Overall, I'd say the breakfast is above average for Four Points standards, featuring local specialties with good quality and taste. The hotel also has a washer-dryer laundry room, so travelers can pack fewer clothes. While the fitness center isn't large, exercising at height with good weather is quite refreshing! The hotel is right next to a shopping mall and subway station, offering numerous options for dining and entertainment! I got a foot massage nearby which was very relaxing, with the masseuse putting in great effort! It completely eliminated travel fatigue. Compared to Delta Kunming at a similar price point, this offers better value! If you're here for tourism, staying in the city center is recommended, and this high-rise Four Points by Sheraton Kunming Xinying is an excellent choice.

I stayed at the Fairfield by Marriott Kunming Xinying and had a good experience. 🧹Soundproofing/Cleanliness: The environment was clean and tidy, and the hygiene was good, so I felt at ease. 🏘️Room Type/Layout: The room was in the usual simple style of Fairfield by Marriott, with all the necessary facilities and a reasonable layout, making it comfortable and cozy. 🛌Supplies/Facilities: The gym was small, but it had two treadmills, an elliptical machine, a Smith machine, and a row of dumbbells, which were enough for a simple workout. There was a self-service washing machine on the 28th floor, which was very convenient. 💰Average Cost: CNY 450 💗Other Tips: The hotel is in a great location in Xinying New Town in the city center. There is a shopping mall downstairs, and it is directly connected to the Shizha subway station. The transportation is convenient, and there are many delicious foods. The front desk is on the 23rd floor, and the guest rooms are on the 24th to 29th floors. During the Mid-Autumn Festival, the hotel thoughtfully gave me two rose flower cakes with ham filling, which were delicious. However, the parking lot signs were not very obvious, and the hotel lobby was not on the first floor, so be sure to take the right elevator when checking in. There are not many Marriott hotels in Kunming, and the Sheraton and Delta are far from the city center. In comparison, the Fairfield by Marriott in the city center is a good choice. I drove here, and as a Marriott Titanium member, I felt that this hotel was more cost-effective. Kunming used to be dominated by IHG, and there are several Holiday Inns in the city center with better locations. However, if you drive and are a Marriott member, the Fairfield by Marriott Kunming Xinying is a good place to stay.

After being downgraded to a Gold membership, I can only choose Fairfield by Marriott to get breakfast. Today, I stayed for one night at the Fairfield by Marriott located in the center of Kunming city. There is a shopping mall right below, transportation is convenient, and both the hotel lobby and rooms are on high floors, offering a broad view of the cityscape of Kunming. 1. Arrival at the hotel The hotel is located in the Xin Ying new town of Kunming. Although it's called a new town, it's actually not far from the city center. There is the Bai Long Road Station of Subway Line 4 nearby, and it's very convenient to take a taxi or bus. Additionally, for friends who come for tourism, it's best to choose shared electric bikes if convenient, as the experience in Kunming is quite good! The hotel is also close to shopping malls, making dining and drinking convenient. 2. Guest rooms Checked in with a P card, and was upgraded one level during check-in. For the last three days, room availability allowed, and I was proactively upgraded to a suite! Thanks to the hotel's enthusiasm, this experience was very nice. The newly opened Fairfield hotels are similar everywhere, so here are only photos of the suite. It should be a distinctive room type of the Kunming Xin Ying Fairfield. Full floor-to-ceiling windows, 270-degree open view, city skyline scenery! Especially the sofa and coffee table right in front of the floor-to-ceiling windows, it feels great to work or rest here! The bathroom space is particularly large! It feels like there should be a bathtub by the window, and the amenities are the same large bottles. The room view is very nice! It can be considered a surprise of the Kunming Xin Ying Fairfield! 3. Facilities and services The hotel has a gym, but I was too tired from commuting to and from work every day to check in at the gym. 4. Dining The breakfast at Kunming Xin Ying Fairfield is very conscientious! The local stir-fried dishes taste very good, and they even have 'hei jin gan ba', which is quite expensive. The coffee machine is well maintained with no residue, and the cooked items include Yunnan specialty rice noodles and 'er si', and the desserts don't have a refrigerator taste. The highlight is! The dining room view is very nice! Transparent skyline view, sunrise breakfast experience!
