Guizhou Tourism|The combination of Karst landform and Taoist culture-Guiyang Xianrendong
☯️Xianrendong got its name from Wang Yangming, who was demoted to Guizhou Longchang Post (now Xiuwen) during the Ming Dynasty. The Taoist palace was built during the Kangxi period of the Qing Dynasty, with attractions such as Sanqing Hall, Sanguan Hall, Renxian Pavilion, Sheshen Rock, Huixian Bridge, and Grottoes. The Sanqing Hall is a three-story pavilion, with birds and beasts sculpted on the corners of the flying eaves, rebuilt in 1919. The Sanguan Hall was built in 1673 and is the only ancient building in Xianrendong that still exists today.
🐱You can burn incense and pray for blessings in this Taoist temple, where there are two cute cats that have been rua and have no temper. The back mountain of the Taoist temple is said to be where the immortals live. If you climb up the straight steep mountain, you can overlook Guiyang City from the perspective of the immortals, which is quite interesting.
🪭Tour tips: You can go to the nearby farmers market, and walk up from the farmers market for about ten minutes to reach the entrance of Xianrendong. After entering, you can reach the top of the mountain by climbing along the steep path for ten minutes (this road can be driven directly to the entrance of Xianrendong, but the road in the farmers market is narrow and there are also shop cars parked on the side of the road. If you encounter a peak of people flow, it is difficult to drive up, let alone meet the car. There is parking at the entrance of Xianrendong)
⚠️Wear comfortable shoes, pay attention to safety, if there are many people, it is not recommended to take children to the top. 🎫Free admission.
🚇Take the subway (Line 2) or bus to Baoshan South Road, then walk for about ten minutes to reach the foot of the mountain. After reaching the foot of the mountain, walk up the steps for ten minutes to reach the entrance of Xianrendong. After entering, you can reach the top of the mountain by climbing along the steep path for ten minutes.
