The Nanming River meanders around the hotel, and together with the green mountains in the distance, it forms the main landscape of the high-rise guest rooms. |Four Points by Sheraton Guiyang, not in a great location but with great service. 📍Guiyang people think its location is bad, that’s okay, right? I seldom go to Xiaohe, but if you live in Xiaohe and Huaxi, you can consider this hotel. 👍The service is very good. There is no lounge. In the past, high-card users would receive afternoon tea (delivered to the room) with various desserts, fruits and nuts. But it’s not available this time, I don’t know if it has been cancelled. 😋The breakfast is delicious, with Guiyang-style Changwang noodles. 💰The price is HKD500-600 per night all year round, and Trip Coins need to be exchanged for 10,000+. It is recommended to combine the flash sale or Q1Q3 activities for a better deal. ❤️A no-brainer recommendation for Marriott hotels in Guiyang: Renaissance is the worst; Sheraton is the best. The least noticeable: Fairfield Inn (expensive and not worth it, sometimes even the most expensive Marriott in Guiyang, it can sell for HKD560 when Renaissance is HKD510. Four Points by Sheraton Guiyang Huaxi The front desk staff were very friendly. They called me in advance to apologize for not being able to upgrade me to a suite before I even asked. They also provided me with all the necessary information when I checked in. Although there is no executive lounge, I was given a free minibar and a drink or coffee at the lobby bar (during happy hour, there was no food but the drinks were great). I enjoyed coffee there for two nights in a row. The hotel is located in Huaxi District, right next to Wanda Plaza, which has many great restaurants. Although it is a little far from the city center, it is closer to Qingyan Ancient Town, Yelang Valley, and Huaxi Park. It is very convenient to take a taxi to these places. The hotel is very new. Unfortunately, I missed happy hour, but breakfast was great. I saw many people in suits and shirts, which gave the hotel a business vibe. I took a taxi from Longdongbao Airport, which took about 30 minutes. Guiyang is like a city built on a mountain, with many tunnels and slopes. You can also take Line 2 from the airport to Fuyuan Road and then take a taxi. The hotel is located on a hill, and the entrance is at the bottom of a slope. Wanda Plaza is downstairs, and you can walk to Haina Plaza to eat Silian Siwawa. It is very convenient.

[Hotel Check-in] Sheraton Guiyang Huaxi Hotel || I was on a business trip to Guiyang. I chose this hotel over the Renaissance because it was closer to the company I was visiting and the airport. To be honest, I was a bit disappointed. There is a gap between high-end and luxury. Room facilities: The occupancy rate was very high on the day of check-in, so high that I couldn't book a double room. The basic twin room I booked was only upgraded to a so-called lake view room. The basic room type does not have a bathtub, it is similar to a budget hotel, and the room has standard facilities and size. The minibar is free, with a total of four drinks and a piece of chocolate. Platinum card members receive complimentary welcome fruit. The bathroom amenities are standard brands, there are no cotton pads, it is not easy to remove makeup... Service: Most importantly, this hotel does not have an executive lounge! There is no afternoon tea and dinner, only a happy hour in the lobby in the evening. They said it was a simple drink, so I didn't go to experience it. Location and transportation: The surrounding area is very lively, with a snack street, taxis, and buses, which is convenient. Room facilities: The facilities are complete, and there are disposable items. Cost performance: The price is relatively affordable, it is the first choice for family travel. Breakfast: The meals are rich, with both Chinese and Western styles. Wi-Fi: No password is required, just connect directly. Bed: It's quite big and comfortable.

Guiyang Huaxi Four Points by Sheraton Hotel This is my second stay at this hotel. It's quite a good value for money, although the location is a bit off. However, there's a Wanda and Vanke nearby with complete facilities which is great for business trips. I made a last-minute booking this time, and the hotel called soon after to proactively upgrade me to an executive room (Gold Card) and even offered breakfast after I inquired, which shows the staff are very communicative and the hotel is quite generous, so kudos for that. The front desk was well-staffed, so there was no queue for check-in. The room this time was a corner room, which was quite spacious and had good lighting. The provision of both large and small slippers was a thoughtful touch. Four Points doesn't offer a lounge, so the minibar drinks, beer, and snacks in the executive room are complimentary. The hardware is fairly new and well-maintained, but the cleanliness could be slightly better. There were some fine hairs sticking to the inner wall of the bathtub and dried water stains on the faucet, but it wasn't a big issue. I always wash the bathtub twice before using it and throw in an effervescent tablet. I used the gym at night, which is accessed with a card. It's not very large and the equipment, which is from Life Fitness, is somewhat limited in quantity and variety, but the gym is very quiet, almost no one else was using it, so it was sufficient. The breakfast the next morning was standard; I couldn't find any yogurt and the variety of food wasn't very rich. The intestine and blood curd noodles were passable. Overall, I have a good impression of this hotel. The staff are quite enthusiastic and always greet you. The front desk is also very warm. Another issue is the elevator card system, which often doesn't work, leading to several awkward moments where I and other guests couldn't get our cards to work in the elevator. But compared to the Holiday Inn I stayed at the previous night, which was in the same price range, both the software and hardware are much better. The Holiday Inn only beats the Four Points in terms of location and the view from the window. In all other aspects, it's completely outclassed.
