[2025 Langkawi Stay] Travel Guide for Frangipani Langkawi Resort (Updated May)

If you are looking for a quiet, calm and a cottage style accommodation surrounded by lot of trees and plants, and a white sandy beach infront, Frangipani Langkawi Resort is the answer. It is located at Pantai Tengah area which is more secluded compared to the happening Pantai Chenang, but the location is not that far from Pantai Chenang area. This resort is very clean and calm, very suitable for those artistic person looking for inspiration or meditation. There’s a chlorine pool, salt water pool and jacuzzi for you to enjoy or you can just choose to bath and sunbathing at the beach. The beach is very clean and not too crowded. Everything is so near, within walking distance. You can also adopt a plant in this resort if you wish to. I did adopt a maroon frangipani since I am a plant enthusiast. For breakfast, they provide local and western cuisine. Do not forget to try their special dish “organic cream of kangkung soup”. Kangkung is a water spinach and a famous vegetable among the local. This is my first time having a cream of kangkung soup, and the taste is quite unique (usually most of the hotel I stay will serve mushroom or chicken soup). A very nice Resort in the mid range affordability in Pantai Tengah. Very good beach. Less crowd . Cleaner water. Nice rooms. Beautiful view of the sea and the outlying islands. Pretty. Nice and friendly staff. Helpful. Comfortable room. Adequate parking. Conveniently located. Walking distance to the hot spots of Pantai Cenang. I have always returned to this property whenever I get to Langkawi. #malaysia

I highly recommend this resort. It is a beautiful resort with many and diverse plants directly on the beach with a great view. The beach is extremely beautiful with private access from the property. The private beach is very clean and beautiful, ong stretch of soft sand of Pantai Cenang. Surprisingly there is a black rock formations at the far end of the private beach that is good for beach photography. Facilities are all up and running on time and the ambience is totally captivating. Rooms and baths are clean and well maintained. Overall experience is good. I will recommend to stay in this resort if you like the beach and enjoy the sunset. This time i decide to stay at resort instead of hotel. I want to let my kids enjoy the island vibe. Strolling on the beach, playing sand. Let them enjoy the sunset and be with nature. I decide to stay at Frangipani Resort & Spa Langkawi. The concept is cottage by the sea. What I love the most is the landscape is so greenery. I really feels like escaping the city and enjoying island vibe. I choose to stay at Garden Villa. My room just beside the pool which is so convenient for my kids. It doesnt have a direct seaview from my window but the beach is just 1minute away from my room. Their beach is PERFECT. The beach is clean, and not crowded. You will want to spend most of your time enjoying the sunset while your kids can enjoy their time in the pool or playing sand. This resort is so quite, calm and most important is not crowded. You dont have to worry about your kids might bumping or disturbing others. This resort also location wise. Only few minute from Cenang.
