This "Kafka Head" (Metamorphosis), created by Czech contemporary artist David Černý, is 11 meters high and made of 42 layers of stainless steel sheets. It slowly rotates, deforms, and reorganizes with the electric mechanical device. It constantly deconstructs and reshapes itself, as if silently interpreting the absurd, alienated, and uncertain world described by Kafka. Standing in front of the statue, watching the layers of metal flickering and turning in the sun, the picture is almost trance-like. Kafka's face is clear at one moment and falls apart at another, as if symbolizing the theme repeatedly questioned in his works: What is the self? Can people still remain intact in modern society? Against the historical buildings in the old town of Prague, this work is like a provocation and a dialogue. Still as mesmerizing as the first time 🥰 went to places I missed the first time and it was just a magical time despite so many people around.

First of all, I want to tell everyone that traveling to Germany for the first time is not difficult at all. There is nothing particularly good to see inside the church, the royal palace and the castle. There are not many exhibits and the furnishings are not very gorgeous. The Pork's, a restaurant recommended by many people, is indeed very delicious.
