Saipan | Grandvrio Resort Saipan Review
Quiet with few people, rooms have floor-to-ceiling windows with stunning sea views, conveniently located in the city center for shopping and dining, hotel restaurant rating: 3/5.
🛍 Shopping is convenient. The Grandvrio Resort Saipan is located in the city center of Garapan, Saipan. Right across the street is the DFS duty-free shop, I Love Saipan souvenir shop, several restaurants and banks, and the largest supermarket chain in Saipan is downstairs.
🏨 Compared to other hotels, there are fewer tourists here, so it's quieter. The Grandvrio has three buildings: the main building (3-star), Crystal Tower (4-star), and Taga Tower (5-star). Currently, only the Taga Tower is open.
🛏️ The rooms are spacious with good views. The beds at the Grandvrio are among the most spacious of the 5-star hotels, and can comfortably sleep an adult and a child. The rooms have floor-to-ceiling windows, so they are very bright. The Grandvrio is probably the tallest building on the island, so the sea views are great. Watching the sunset from the room in the evening is really nice (the sunset in Saipan is worth seeing every day!)
🍽 The restaurant has good views, but the food is nothing special. The breakfast is average, but it's free. We had a meal at the Dolphin Restaurant, and ordered a set meal, which was cheaper than we expected, and the food was okay. The main thing is the 270-degree sea view, so overall it was a good experience, and worth a try. If you don't want to eat there, there are many restaurants nearby. (See the menu in picture 6)
🔌 Hotel sockets: Chinese two-pin plugs can be used directly, three-pin plugs need an adapter. The sockets in several hotels on the island seem to be three-pin. (See the socket in picture 7)
⚠️ There's not much to watch on TV...
