Hohhot Guanyin Temple is the only well-preserved Han Chinese Buddhist temple from the Qing Dynasty in Hohhot. Upon waking, Master Juzu returned home to bid farewell to his family, visited the old monk at the Xichafang Guandi Temple to be ordained, and received the Dharma name 'Juzu'. After years of traveling and fundraising, he finally built Guanyin Temple beside the well. Master Juzu became the first abbot of Guanyin Temple, and his eye disease was indeed cured. Guanyin Temple thus gained great fame, attracting a large number of devotees and worshippers.
