Hama Dam is located at the junction of the Inner Mongolia and Hebei Province, within the territory of Keshiketeng Banner, Wulanbutong. There is a small, unassuming village nestled between the rising slopes on both sides, with a small river running through the village. Without a guide in advance and relying on navigation to find the destination, many people would miss this beautiful scenery. On the grassland, 'Dam' refers to a piece of high and gentle slope. Hama Dam is just like this, a large piece of undulating hilly slope. On the slope, in addition to the endless meadows, there are large areas of birch forests and scattered old elm trees, as well as randomly scattered shrubs. Therefore, the most beautiful time in Hama Dam is in autumn and winter.
