[2025 Daegu Attraction] Travel Guide for Hangang Park (Updated May)

#seoul A laid back and spacious park with great vibes. Scenic view of the Hangang River, with boats passing by and seagulls gathering around. Nice place to spend evening time with cool breeze. Picnic mat and table rental available nearby and plenty of eateries are present around. You can also rent a bike for 3000 won for an hour and take a ride. If you like to walk, it is a place to visit. As it has good walking track along the river. You can see amazing sky colours at sunset which will be definitely refreshing. #fallingforfall An urban park along the Han River. There are a few Hangang Parks alongside the river and the one we had gone to is the Yeouido Hangang Park, which is near the Yeouinaru station. Nice relaxing park to chill out and relax. There are quite a lot of locals / families around the park picnicking, walking, and cycling, while enjoying the riverside / fall foliage views. The trees at Yeouido Hangang Park had started to change colours when we were there, and should be even more beautiful when it reaches its peak. Yeouido Hangang Park is also where you can book and collect the tickets, as well as board the ferry for the Eland Cruise. The park is also near 63 Square where there's an Observatory, art museum & aquarium.

After sunset, you will be able to view the night illumination just right outside E-land cruise terminal. There will also be buskers and stages are set up too. If you are a pair of lovebirds, you will definitely love the illuminated love signages. It will look very nice on photos so remember to bring your camera/phones. Towards the makeshift stage, there is also more illumination. During Christmas, you can spot many Christmas displays too. The Hangang river area is really a nice place to relax and enjoy the breeze. Be sure to come by this area to enjoy the food stalls and take photos with “I.SEOUL.U” signage by the Hangang river. It is just right outside Yeouinaru station Exit 2. If you want to have a picnic and do not have the necessary then you can buy from the stalls here. You can buy everything and have a picnic at Hangang river too. This is an open space and you can choose any spot you like. It could be dark after sunset, so you can also buy the battery-operated LED lamps too. It is cute and comes in many shapes.
