We had the pleasure of staying at Hotel Ease Mong Kok during our visit to Hong Kong. The check-in process was smooth. The room itself was cozy and well-designed, even though small in size. The bed was comfortable, and the view from the window was nice—especially at night when the city lights illuminated the skyline. One of the highlights was the hotel’s location. It’s right in the heart of Mong Kok, surrounded by bustling markets, street food stalls, and local shops. We spent hours exploring the vibrant streets, trying delicious snacks, and soaking in the lively atmosphere. Our stay at Hotel Ease Mong Kok was delightful. Three-star hotel recommendation, Asahi Hotel (Mong Kok) is located at the exit of Yau Ma Tei MTR Station, about a few minutes away from the hotel. Although the entrance is a bit hidden, fortunately there is a large sign on the outside of the hotel, which is very easy to recognize. The lobby staff service attitude is quite good, the room is two single bed design, although the area is small, but still clean and tidy, and located on the high floor, even can see a small part of the sea view from a distance, the view is good. There are many different types of restaurants near the hotel, including some celebrity shops, which makes it extremely convenient to find food. From experiencing the glass cable car, climbing the stairs to the Big Buddha, the Ngong Ping 360 is a destination you can’t miss! Hong Kong Disneyland was a great add to our trip. After Chinese New year, there were so many special dances and events happening! Definitely going back with my son!

I booked the Asahi Mongkok Hotel in Yau Ma Tei for this impromptu trip to Hong Kong. The location is great. The hotel is just around the corner from the station. Unfortunately, there is no portable shower head and air conditioning. Everything else is good.

Everyone has their own inertia and direction. I tend to buy cheap and delicious food. Whether it’s Busan or Hong Kong, the cost of food is the same. I had two dinners at Hotel Is Mongkok in room 3202. On the first day, I bought durian. Tropical fruits are four times cheaper than in Busan, so the direction is right. The pungent smell of durian hides the sweet texture like butter. I had a durian dinner in my hotel room. On the second day, I went to Samyang Misik, a Hong Kong local restaurant next to the hotel. They prepared a lot of side dishes, including pork and stir-fried chicken. One lunch box of rice, and side dishes are calculated based on the number of orders. The portions are large, so one serving is Michelin for my husband and I! When I calculated it, it was 2,000 to 3,000 won per person. Of course, Hong Kong people also eat lunch boxes at nearby Ssamji Park or at home. I chewed on the high prices in Hong Kong as I went down to Busan. Due to work reasons, I need to stay in Mong Kok for one night, so I chose the Asahi Hotel Mong Kok. The hotel is in a very convenient location, with restaurants and convenience stores nearby. It is also very close to the Yau Ma Tei MTR station, which only takes less than 3 minutes to walk to the MTR station. The hotel rooms are basically fully equipped. I think it is worth recommending to some travelers who stay for a short period of time for work.

Overall, I am very satisfied with the following aspects, including: the location is in Yau Ma Tei, there is MTR and King's Market just downstairs, the comfort and cleanliness are very good, I like it very much. It doesn't have the feel of a traditional hotel, but more like a new residential unit.

The location is super convenient, there are many restaurants downstairs and it is close to the subway station. The hotel staff has a good attitude.
