[2025 Tokyo Stay] Travel Guide for Hotel Sunroute Plaza Shinjuku (Updated Feb)

This hotel is located in a fantastic location within walking distance to Shinjuku Station. There is a lift next to the hotel, making travel with luggage super easy. The hotel is also an airport shuttle stop, should you prefer Limousine bus for direct trip to Haneda Airport. Room is on a small size and a bit outdated. However, given its location and the right price, I will return to this hotel for my future stay in Tokyo. #hotelreview #tokyo #Japan

I would truly recommend this hotel if you are looking for a place to stay near Shinjuku Station. Easy peasy to find, trust me. Room is standard size of any Japan hotel but its comfy. Had a good night sleep and rest. For its location, it is not a budget hotel. Surrounded with many shops, the area is so much alive with busy people. Beautiful at nights with bright lights. Fast check in and check out using machines. Not sure if they allow early check in with extra charge. Check if you must. The next time we will be staying, we would choose the room with street view. Once you land at Narita International Airport, it is a quick 60 mins train ride to Shinjuku. For this #hotelreview I will showcase Hotel Sunroute Plaza Shinjuku. The nearest subway entrance which is just right beside the hotel will be TOEI OEDO Line E27 Shinjuku Exit A1. In Shinjuku, it is a transportation hub, and you can have many options from all sorts of transportation modes. Don’t get flustered and try to use the navigation app to plan your route. You can consider walking too because Shinjuku/Shibuya area is easy to walk, and you can discover new restaurants, eateries and public parks too. The base rooms are of a good size and the hotel provide many different types of amenities at the lobby for guests. You can choose bigger rooms too, but the prices will be on the higher side. If you are not spending much time in the hotel and only use it for its convenience, their base room will be a better choice. All the staff here can speak English and they have switch to self-check in so you are less likely to check in earlier than the standard 3pm check in time. But you can always leave your luggage with the reception. My stay was in August 2023 and I paid $300.82 for 3 nights after using promo codes.
