There are several cafes and restaurants on the square where you can enjoy a drink while admiring the view. It's a small square but charming, although it was packed with people when we visited and a little overwhelming. At night, with fewer people and bright lights, it must be a spectacle. Spanish Mediterranean Coast Tour ~ Castellón (Region) A very interesting museum, I didn't expect it to have such a large collection of tiles and the whole history of tiles in Castellón, you can see the whole evolution of ceramics and how they were made by hand in the past and how they are made today. Besides sculptures, tableware and homewares, its tiles are true works of art. The store has magnets, thimbles, earrings, necklaces, bracelets, trays, platters, plates, etc., all made of tiles. #February2025 #SpainTravel #Valencia

Spanish Mediterranean Coast Tour ~ Castellón (Region) In the foothills of the Sierra Espadán we find Onda, a historic village in the interior of Castellón with an important monumental heritage and a long tradition in ceramic production. Inhabited since the time of the Iberians (6th to 1st century BC), Onda reached its peak in the Middle Ages. The town lived during the period of Arab rule (10th-13th centuries), which gave this historic quarter its urban layout, declared a historical-artistic site and cultural object. The historic district stretches around the "Castle of 300 Towers", where we can see the arcades of Almoudine Square and the arcades of Saint-Pere. Also worth mentioning is the Church of Sangle, built in the 13th century by the Knights Templar, and the numerous monasteries that dot the streets of the town.
