When I went from Silom to Grab, it was about 200 baht, but when I took a meter taxi on the way back, it was 100 baht. Meter taxis definitely seem cheaper.

There are so many night markets located in Bangkok. We found one which is less crowded but also a place worth to visit which is located right infront of Palladium mall called INDY Market. They have more then 15 vendors here mostly selling clothes, phone accessories, apparels, girls accessories and art. If you are looking for a food market, indy market won't be an ideal place unless you looking for items cheaper than the mainstream market like chatuchak and patunam night Market. The items here are generally 5-10baht cheaper which is still worth to come for a visit. This market is located right across platinum Fashion Mall and right at the junction so it's rather easy to get to.
