Jinbi Park is the first park in old Kunming, the site of which is now the First People's Hospital of Jinbi Road. Because there is a Golden Horse and Jade Rooster nearby, it got its name; and because there was only one park at that time, people just called it "Park" for short. The gate of Jinbi Park faces north, on Jinbi Road today. The entrance is a fountain, behind the pool there is a fake stone mountain, and behind the stone mountain is a large screen. Around the screen wall, there is a large area of Merlin. There is a large flower bed in the center of the plum garden. There is a small pavilion on each side of the flower bed, which are called "Cloak", "Yanyue", "Huayu" and "Wangyun". To the east of the plum garden is the pear garden. From the pear garden to the south, along the east wall of the park, there are Huahong Garden, Jujube Garden, Chrysanthemum Garden, Apple Garden and Botanical Garden. Just south of the plum garden is the center of the park's architectural merchandise exhibition. To the east of the exhibition hall are the Mineral Hall and the Agriculture and Forestry Hall. In the center of the square to the south of the exhibition hall, there is a bronze statue of Mr. Yang Zhenhong from Kunming, a martyr of the 1911 Revolution. To the south of the bronze statue is a pond. There are two small islands in the pond, both of which are connected to the land by bridges. There are also small pavilions on the islands. The whole park is lush with verdant trees, gorgeous flowers, ponds, pavilions, pavilions, rockeries, flower beds, and bronze statues are well arranged, and the arrangement is well-proportioned. It was a good place for people in Kunming to play and relax at that time.
