[2025 Shanwei ] Travel Guide for Jinding Bay (Updated Jun)

Traveling with a group, we rented a car on the second day, and took taxis the rest of the time. We ate at places recommended by local friends, which were pretty good. The ride takes about 10 mins and costs about CNY 12. Old Taste Beef Brisket Hot Pot (Pinqing 3rd Road Branch) 200 m from the intersection of Pinqing Avenue and Pinqing 3rd Road Afternoon • After lunch, take a taxi to Jinting Bay (we chose to stay in a villa by the sea for easy access to the beach). The ride takes about 25 mins. After arriving, take a short break. • At around 3 pm, leave the villa and walk to the beach to watch the sunset. Jinting Bay Wedding Chapel, Whale Bay Town Amusement Park Evening • After watching the sunset, take a taxi to Yuxing Restaurant for a seafood dinner. Yuxing Restaurant (No. 260, Damalu, Chengqu) • After dinner, head to Erma Road for some snacks. The first day was sunny, so it was warm. The second day was spent at the beach, and the sea breeze was strong, so I recommend wearing a jacket and pants.
