Historic buildings
Zhuozhou Twin Pagodas (Twin Pagodas in Liao Dynasty) are the landmark buildings of the ancient city of Zhuozhou. They are located in the northeast corner of the old city of Zhuozhou (now under the jurisdiction of Tianqiao Street of the Twin Pagodas Office). Zhidu Temple Pagoda", the north tower is called "Yunju Temple Pagoda". The two pagodas are named after the temple, but the temple is not known when it was destroyed. There is only one pagoda in each, which is collectively called "Zhuozhou Twin Pagodas. With a height of 44 meters, it was built in the 11th year of Taiping in Liao Dynasty (1031). The north tower is six-level, with a height of 56 meters. It has a certain influence in China. The Zhuozhou Twin Pagodas are the pavilion-type brick pagodas that are less preserved among the existing Liao pagodas in China. They completely imitate the wooden pavilions. Set up an octagonal corridor.
