The river view is very open, and you can see the Egongyan Bridge in the distance. On clear days, you can see people swimming in the river. I think Longfeng Temple is a temple with a unique Chongqing style, and it's a great place for visitors to check in.   🌟 Longfeng Temple was originally called "Dragon King Temple" and was built by the river to pray for the safety of passing boats and boatmen. You can get three free incense sticks at the entrance of the temple. Walk up the steps with a pious heart. There were no crowds on the second day of the Chinese New Year, but when I saw the side of Longfeng Temple standing quietly by the Yangtze River, I could feel the weight of the wishes it carried. 🌟 The temple is full of incense, and there is an endless stream of worshippers, but they are all in order. It seems that if you pray patiently here, your wishes will come true in order. The smoke drifts to the river. The 166 Ship is moored on the Yangtze River not far from Longfeng Temple. You can walk along Jiubin Road to visit both attractions. It's a great place for family trips and trips with seniors. It takes about 1 hour to visit (see picture 16). 2️⃣ Jianchuan Museum: CNY 45 per person. There are many exhibition halls. I spent 3 hours there last time and didn't finish visiting. Longfeng Temple, originally named "Prince's Temple", was founded in the seventh year of the Zhi Zheng era of the Yuan Dynasty (1347 AD) and rebuilt during the Tongzhi era of the Qing Dynasty. It is located on Zhigang Avenue in Jiulongpo District, Chongqing, built against a cliff and adjacent to the mighty Yangtze River, overlooking Jiulong Beach in the Nan'an District to the east. The temple was constructed to pray for the safety and wisdom of passing ships, trackers, and local residents. For hundreds of years, it has been filled with spiritual energy, bustling with worshippers, and famous throughout Bashu. In the early days of liberation, due to the construction of the Chengyu Railway, parts of the temple were demolished. In 2000, with the grace of the Jiulongpo District People's Government, it was officially approved to open to the public. Named after the nearby Longfeng Creek and symbolizing the auspiciousness of the dragon and phoenix, it was renamed "Longfeng Temple". Since the sixteenth year of the Chunxi era of the Southern Song Dynasty (1189), this place belonged to Zhi Li of Ba County, Chongqing Prefecture, dozens of miles east of the prefectural city, facing Xiao Li across the river. In the twenty-eighth year of the Republic of China (1939), it was incorporated into the urban area, under the jurisdiction of the eighth district, and now belongs to Jiulongpo District. The Yangtze River flows from the southwest to the northeast at this location, then suddenly turns from west to east. The bend is sharp and the shoals are dangerous, with deep water and fast currents, known as Jiulong Beach. Ships often encountered danger here. To pray for the safety of ships, merchants, and trackers, in the seventh year of the Zhi Zheng era of the Yuan Dynasty (1347), local gentry and merchants raised funds to build the Prince's Temple to pray for blessings and avoid disasters. After the chaos of the late Ming Dynasty, the temple was long abandoned. It was not until the Tongzhi era of the Qing Dynasty (1862-1874) that local officials rebuilt it, and it began to take on its later scale. The temple stands with its face to the river and its back to the rocks, enshrining the statue of Guanyin Bodhisattva and the Dragon King, who governs the three palaces of the water mansion. Although it also honors Buddhist and Taoist deities, it is neither Buddhist nor Taoist and has no monks or Taoist priests in residence. It is only managed by a "caretaker" responsible for cleaning, oiling lamps, and receiving worshippers. Longfeng Temple is located near Zhigang Avenue in Jiulongpo, facing the south bank of the river, next to Tanzikou, and close to Chongqing South Railway Station. Transportation: You can take the bus to Zhujiang Garden Station, which is a 10-minute walk away (just below Tianbao Square). It takes at least 30 minutes to walk to Yangjiaping Station or Huangjueping Station on the subway. If you drive, you need to park on the bridge (there is a restaurant on it) and then walk down. The temple is not big, with Weituo Bodhisattva's instruments facing downwards. The temple is divided into three floors, with Vairocana Tathagata facing the river. The temple is located at a lower level and should be the first to protect the river. The view is wide and when the weather is good, the other side of the river is particularly clear. From a distance, you can see the Egongyan Bridge and the retired warships that have recently moved into the Jianchuan Museum. Behind the temple is the railway, which used to run from Caiyuanba to South Station. There are guardrails beside the railway where you can take a walk and relax.

Originally named 'Wangye Temple', Longfeng Temple was first built in the seventh year of the Yuan Dynasty's Zhi Zheng era (1347 AD) and was rebuilt during the Tongzhi era of the Qing Dynasty. Part of it was demolished to make way for railway construction, but it was reopened in 2000. Named after the Longfeng Creek it is situated on, the temple was renamed 'Longfeng Temple' to signify the auspicious presence of the dragon and phoenix. To visit Longfeng Temple, one can park at Tianbao Square on Zhigang Avenue, where the mountain gate of Longfeng Temple can be seen. However, to reach the temple itself, one must walk a couple of hundred meters forward on the bridge and then descend the steps. Upon reaching the second mountain gate of Longfeng Temple, visitors can receive free incense. There is also a stone stele inscribed with 'Enter Samadhi' and three brightly colored stone pillars carved with dragons and phoenixes, echoing the name of the temple. The temple's architecture is quite tall, and during the flood season, one can witness the Yangtze River rushing past the front of the temple, a truly spectacular sight. From here, one can also see the distant E'gongyan Bridge and the 166 warship. Entering Longfeng Temple, the temple is built against the mountain with clear layers. Although the terrain is somewhat narrow, the content is rich. The architectural style of the temple is slightly different from other temples, appearing more exquisite and colorful. First, one arrives at the large platform on the first level, with the Guanyin Hall on the right, the Mahavira Hall in the center, and the golden statue of Wei Tuo Bodhisattva opposite. On the left is the bell-ringing area for blessings, and this level also has a viewing platform for the scenery of both banks of the Yangtze River. Then, descending the stairs to the basement level, this entire level is indoors, with rooms such as the classroom, Yuantong Treasure Hall, Yunji Hall, Abbot's Room, and Medicine Master's Dojo, all featuring a very distinctive architectural style. Located on the basement level, the Dharma distribution center is also a Buddha hall. The various blessing items sold here are always bathed in the light of the Buddha and are cheaper than those in other temples. Those wishing to acquire Dharma items might consider coming here, as it is said that praying for marriage at Longfeng Temple is particularly effective. Leaving Longfeng Temple, the old Chengyu Railway is right next door, extending along the temple's red walls into the distance, creating a unique scenery that blends the ancient with the modern. From here, one can follow the railway for a walk and take some very photogenic pictures.
