For those who come to visit Fukuoka, popular accommodations near the airport and train station are in 2 major areas: Hakata and Tenjin. If you like quiet, I recommend Hakata. Or you can try staying in both areas, it's quite different. You'll get different atmospheres. We chose to stay in Tenjin for the remaining 4 days of the trip and booked through Trip.com. This area is quite lively. In the evening, people walk along the alleys. There are brand shops along the road, similar to Siam in our country. For the accommodation we chose this time, we stayed at Lyf Tenjin. The check-in lobby is on the 3rd floor. And from the 4th floor up, there are rooms. The rooms here are quite small, as shown in the picture. You won't be able to open 2 large bags. There is a safe under the bed. And we can open the bag and put it under the bed. And there is still space to put the bags we shopped. Here, the receptionist is 24 hours a day. The staff are of various nationalities. There is a kitchen on the 3rd floor where we can go down to eat or cook. There is no refrigerator in the room, but there is a refrigerator on the 3rd floor where we can put our stuff to cool down. We have to write our name on it and the check-out date. There is a coin-operated washing machine for self-service. And in the room, there will be a pitcher of plain water for us to go down to ask for ice at the bar on the 3rd floor to fill up plain water to drink in the room. We can hang a cloth in front of the room door so that the maid can come and clean on the day we want. We hang it here every day and the maid comes to clean, change the sheets and make the bed every day. From the shopping street, walk into the alley to the hotel. It's not far at all. In conclusion, the location is very good, not lonely, safe.

As expected from a Japanese accommodation, it was a little small, but the space was well utilized so there was no inconvenience. I was worried that the smell would not go away if I ate food in the accommodation. There was a lounge with a kitchen, so I could eat in the lounge, so there was no smell issue.
