As the name implies, the sound is very beautiful, neatly arranged, lots of trees, fastest some places to eat if the night, and around it clean. And around the Cemara Asri Vihara there is a swamp containing hundreds of Storks that live and surrounded by trees. This temple is very different because the monastery is very majestic and if we are here it feels like we are abroad because of the artistic buildings that are full of culture and characteristics of Buddhism... This is one of the largest temple in Medan, with its HUGE statue, and awesome architecture inside, the walls and the stone engraved paintings are remarkable. if you visit here, if not so crowded, you will feel so peaceful and sometimes can feel like in heaven. Avoid visiting here at weekend and Sunday. This is a religious place for Bhuddist to pray, yet they let other people to come and enjoy it's beautiful grand architexture, Koi fish pond, and even children playground, and for that, we are most thankful. However, for those who are keen and interested, there are about a dozen paintings on the ground floor just behind the main hall exhorting the virtues of filial piety, compassion for living beings etc. Very well written verse in Chinese and Bahasa Indonesia.
