It was a trip to Mokpo, Korea. We started our trip by visiting Yudalsan Mountain ⛰️ The hike was manageable, and the panoramic views of Mokpo’s coastline and nearby islands were worth every step. We visited Mokpo Junghwaru, a traditional Chinese restaurant that has been around for 77 years since 1947. There were many dishes including 'Jungkkan', the signature menu of Chinese restaurants in Mokpo, and we ate Samseon Jjambbong and Jungkkan. It was also introduced in Mokpo's Best Restaurant, Master of Life, and Kim Young-cheol's Neighborhood Tour. The taste was as good as the price, and the spicy flavor was especially well-received. It is located at 240 Haeyangdaehak-ro, Mokpo-si, and is open Monday to Thursday at 1000-1900, and Friday to Sunday at 0930-2000. It can be reach by taking Bus number 1 from Mokpo train station. This cable car is divided into two sections, the first goes to the top of Yudalsan mountain, where you can alight and walk around. The next ride will take you across the sea to the Gohado Island which is the longest stretch. You can walk to Gohado Observatory, a unique building built with orange containers. Take Bus 15 from Mokpo train station, and then head toward the ocean, then cross the bridge. Gatbawi is named after its shape, which is said to look like two men wearing traditional Korean hats. The rocks are actually made of two individual formations measuring 8 meters and the other is 6 meters. For a pleasant walk along the sea for around a kilometer, you will be headed to Mokpo Peace Square, which is also known as Pyeonghwa Plaza.
