Cao Lau, which is said to be similar to Ise udon, is a specialty noodle dish of Hoi An that is eaten with a sweet and spicy sauce, meat, crushed rice crackers, herbs, etc., all mixed together. Despite its voluminous appearance, the mild taste makes it easy to eat. The bread for the banh mi was also delicious. 📍Morning Glowly A restaurant in Hoi An where you can eat Vietnamese food! It seems to be a popular restaurant, and it says that reservations are required, but I happened to drop in and there was a seat available at the right time, so I went in. The menu is easy to understand with pictures, and the prices are reasonable. The food is delicious, of course, and just what Japanese people like! The restaurant is upstairs and has a wonderfully large balcony overlooking the street below. It is a fantastic place for people watching, but fills up very quickly, so is often best to book if you know you want to be sitting there, luckily we had a table even when we just walked-in. They also have a singer on the stage so there was some good music going on. The dishes we had were phenomenonal! 1st stop at HoiAn, must goto this restaurant to enjoy the authentic local food, although only serving water but the food its thumb up. Good word from mouth to mouth. Price is slightly on the higher but worth for money. You can enjoy the night scenery at the river bank after dinner. Its walking distance to explore the old town ancient.
