I was so happy to visit Egypt. This is the Mortuary Temple of Hatshepsut in Luxor city. It was built during the reign of Queen Hatshepsut of the Eighteenth Dynasty. It is definitely HUGE and it was carved on the stones. 😱 The entrance fee cost less than 3 euros and you can go inside - unfortunately many os the statues inside were destroyed over time. In Luxor, I caught a taxi at the station and chartered it for a day🚖✨ I was a bit worried about a lot of things, but it turned out to be a great decision! I was able to move at my own pace and it was extremely comfortable👏 I started around 7am First, I crossed to the west bank and went to the Valley of the Kings. After that, I visited the Temple of Queen Hatshepsut and the Colossi of Memnon. I took a lunch break along the way, and in the afternoon I went to Medinet Habu Temple and Karnak Temple on the east bank! You can enter 3 tombs with the basic admission fee, and you have to buy tickets in advance for the famous tombs. I planned to visit the 3rd, 4th, 9th, 5th, 6th, and Seti I tombs, a total of 5 places. I also spent a day at the Valley of the Kings, so I was able to enjoy it without the crowds. If you are a free traveler like me, I recommend planning your schedule leisurely. After seeing the Valley of the Kings, I visited the Hatshepsut Temple last without any expectations, but I was re-energized by the magnificent stone-carved structure. ☘️ Tips for traveling to Egypt as a solo traveler? Don't be stingy with tips! You can hire a short guide and an amateur photographer with a small tip.
