Yufudake is an active volcano located near Yufuin. The peak is 1583 meters high and has a conical shape, so it is also called Bungo Fuji. When the weather is good, you can go hiking. There are climbing routes for beginners and intermediate climbers, so you can fully enjoy the fun of climbing.
