Exciting summer vacation, hot and humid these days, Yeongwol Art Museum, Youngdal Waipak Outdoor Gallery
#Heart-pounding summer vacation
✨️Youngdal Wipark✨️ is a complex art space located in Jucheon-myeon, Yeongwol-gun, Gangwon-do, South Korea, and opened on June 14, 2019. The Sulsaem Museum, a liquor museum established in 2014, was not operated and was left unattended for several years, so Gangneung Haslla Art World planned it and space designer Choi Ok-young (1959~) reconstructed it with the theme of ‘regeneration and circulation’ for urban regeneration and coexistence with local residents. The inner walls and ceiling of the existing Sulsaem Museum building were all demolished, and the art gallery space was connected to create Youngdal Wipark. On the 26,270㎡ site used by the Sulsaem Museum, there are Red Bamboo, Youngdal Art Museum 1-5, Wind Path, Jupiter, Red Pavilion 1 and 2, and Play Space. Among them, the outdoor gallery may be a bit difficult to see in the hot summer, but it is a must-see for those traveling to Yeongwol, a popular photo spot and hot place.
