I will share both routes with you: 🦌Route 1: Enter through the south gate of the Milu Deer Park 🅿️ Park at Nanhaizi Parking Lot 1 or 2, enter from Nanhaizi South Gate 1, walk 1.8 kilometers for 29 minutes to reach the south gate of the Milu Deer Park, or take the park shuttle bus for 20 yuan per person per trip directly to the south gate of the Milu Deer Park. 👍 The advantage of this route is that the bridge right after entering the south gate is the best viewing spot for deer. If you want to see the deer up close, you can also rent an electric car here and drive into the reserve for a closer look. 🦌Route 2: Enter through the north gate of the Milu Deer Park 🅿️ Park at Nanhaizi Parking Lot 18, enter from Nanhaizi South Gate 2, walk 1.6 kilometers for 25 minutes to reach the north gate of the Milu Deer Park, or take the park shuttle bus for 10 yuan per person per trip directly to the south gate of the Milu Deer Park. 👍 The advantage of this route is that the shuttle bus is cheaper. If you don't want to walk and prefer to take the shuttle bus, this route is recommended. However, after entering through the north gate, you still need to walk 1 kilometer to the best viewing bridge. But walking around the Milu Deer Park and seeing the extinct animal memorials and other attractions will get you there quickly. 📷【Where to take photos of the deer】 You can take photos of the deer at the Milu Deer Reserve, the Little Keeper Experience Area, the Science Popularization Boardwalk, the Deer Viewing Platform, and other spots. For detailed route introductions, you can check my previous notes. This time, I learned that in summer, the latest time to rent a self-driving sightseeing car is 16:00. I was 5 minutes late and couldn't rent one, so I regretted not being able to see the deer up close this time😭. Therefore, I recommend that if you don't have a telephoto lens of 300mm or more, it's more convenient to rent a sightseeing car to see the deer up close. 🕖【Opening hours】 Nanhaizi Park: 6:00-21:00 in summer, 7:00-20:00 in winter. Milu deer🫎 roam and forage on the vast lawns below. Sika deer and peacocks🦚 move around in their respective areas, and occasionally peacocks fly onto the pedestrian paths, showing no fear of humans, a bravery that is admirable. In the prime of spring, the peacocks spread their tails, vying with each other in beauty, offering a feast for the eyes. The park has set up a feeding area, charging 60 per person, where you can get up close and personal, feeding the deer. The price is a bit steep, reminiscent of the Sun Island in Harbin. At the entrance, you can rent a car🚗, with a two-person car costing either 140 or 160 per hour. The car lanes are separate, allowing for a closer view of the milu deer.
