24 hours in Kunming resetting for more of Yunnan , even though we didn’t get to see all the great places. A friend recommended this city center night market / pedestrian street. As a foodie this was up my alley. 📍Take metro line 2 ( Tangzixiang ) Exit H. Walk about 10 minutes. This outdoor space is full of food and shops to explore, dont come full so you can try some of the difference cuisines. From Maan Coffee , you will in find Thai inspired food along the way. We grabbed Sushi , Gelato , and even proper pork fried pork skin. 😋 You can satisfy any food palette when Visiting this street. #kunmingtravel #kunmingfood #foodie #

It was named Taipei Street to resemble the ambience of Taiwan's night markets, particularly those in Shilin, Taipei. It is part of the revitalized Nanqiang Street, which dates back to the early Qing Dynasty and originally a hub for military training. The street is adorned with traditional fiery red lanterns and neon signs, creating an atmosphere reminiscent of Taipei’s famous Shilin Night Market. We were strolling along the street during the daytime as it was near our hotel, but most of the street food stalls were not opened yet. In the evenings, the area comes alive with the aroma of sizzling delicacies from the street food, making it a popular spot for both locals and tourists seeking a taste of Taiwan without leaving Kunming.

#cherryblossom25 Art Me Hotel in Kunming boasts a fantastic location, just step away from eateries (including plenty of halal options) and major shopping malls. As fans of both food and shopping, we found this super convenient. What truly stood out was the hotel’s charming boutique vibe and its outdoor seating area along the pedestrian lane. It was lovely to sit under the shady trees, relax, and enjoy some casual people-watching. The room itself was just okay. Some of the shelves and furniture felt a bit tired. However, the bathroom and toilet were excellent, especially with features that cater well to guests who use bidets. There’s so much to explore around the hotel, but unfortunately, we didn’t have enough time. We’d love to return and see more !

Returned from an unforgettable trip to Kunming, and it truly lives up to its nickname — the City of Eternal Spring. Highlights of the Trip: 1) Western Hills (西山）& Dianchi Lake. The view from Dragon Gate was absolutely stunning. The cable car ride over the lake added a fun twist to the experience. 2) Stone Forest (Shilin - 石林): A must-visit! The towering limestone formations were like something out of a fantasy world. Walking through the maze-like paths was both surreal and awe-inspiring. 3) Shuangqiaocun Night Market (双桥村夜市) is situated in Guandu District. It is always crowded around the year. At the market, you could not only enjoy local food, 4) Zhuanxin Wet Market (篆新农贸市场).The place maintains a reputation as not only the largest but also the best destination for buying fresh meat, produce and nearly any other regional edible in the Spring City. 5) Local Cuisine: From crossing-the-bridge noodles to wild mushroom hotpots, the food was flavourful and comforting. There aren’t many types of coffee here, but the cold brewed tea is very special, and there are some small desserts to pair with it. The overall atmosphere is very suitable for relaxation. The store also sells jewelry that is full of details. We went there on a weekday afternoon and there weren't many people there, so the photos were great. There were also many people taking pictures and checking in outside the store. In fact, the best thing to do is to sit down with friends, order a cup of tea or coffee, and chat leisurely for an afternoon. The average price per person is around 25, which is very cost-effective.
