#uktrip Amazing place to visit. Perfect for all ages. The planetarium show was absolutely brilliant. We were able to watch not long after entry and then off the explore. There is so much to see and all easy to navigate around. Was very busy but a Saturday with an event on we expected as much. Great that you can return again for free. Highly recommend 🚀Fabulous and interesting day out. Lots of school parties but we liked to see how much fun the kids were having. We went up the tower, I walked as vertigo makes me not a fan of glass lifts. Very interesting historical displays showing the development of space travel. The Planetarium was spectacular. If you suffer from motion sickness it may be as well to ask which show is less like a theme park ride. Amazing images and animations, show lasted 25 mins and the school’s had their own separate shows. Maybe ask how many schools are expected as we were there on one of their busiest school day’s just before half term. Our ticket was converted to an annual pass so we can go back. You still have to pay for the Planetarium but I believe it is a reduced price, the website will tell you. The cafe sold nice salads and sandwiches and basic hot food so we ate there. Well stocked shop with expensive and cheaper things to buy. All in all we thoroughly enjoyed ourselves

This National Space looks like a clear plastic shell on a Japanese soft ice cream! The most powerful is there is a 42 meter high rocket tower and many real used spacesuits and daily necessities that have been in space. There is the largest domed planetarium in the UK to see cosmic videos and several galleries. The most interesting thing is that there is no weight space to see the gravity-free state. If schools or groups go to book, special programs or itineraries can be tailored. If you go to Leicester, you can go back and forth to space and back to earth together.
