WWI Museum in Kansas City
Wow!!! The National WWI Museum and Memorial in Kansas City was amazing! If you are a history buff this a must go see!!! There is so much information that you could spend hours upon hours reading about what happened and seeing neat artifacts from the war. There is also a great overlook spot that allows you to see the majority of downtown Kansas City! If you are in KC, this is a must stop for anyone. It is awesome to see all about the world history, even if you aren’t a major history buff!
Getting There - Downtown Kansas City, Missouri, near the Union Center and the Money Museum.
Attractions - So many WWI artifacts to look at! The amount of information was impeccable!
Hotels - Westin KC, Embassy Suites by Hilton, and the Truitt are all pretty close and extremely nice for a family stay!
Food & Restaurants - Kansas City is home to the well-known KC style BBQ. This city features great spots to eat, such as Joe’s Kansas City BBQ, Arthur Bryant’s BBQ, LC’s BBQ, and Slaps BBQ
Shopping - Lots of great shopping areas! If you come on a weekend, the city market days are a great place to check out!
