To get from Chinggis Khaan International Airport in Ulaanbaatar, the capital of Mongolia, to the city center, you need to take a bus or a taxi. Please note that Chinggis Khaan International Airport is about 50km away from the city center, so we don't recommend walking there, no matter how much you want to save money. For the exact location, go through customs and you will see a large electronic signboard in front of the exit that displays flight arrival and departure information. Chinggis Khaan International Airport is clean and handsome small airport with cafes, shops and duty free. The range of goods is not huge, but most of them are related to Mongolian culture. Duty free has a good range of alcohol drinks, small range of cosmetics and perfume and food. There is small area for children in waiting area. There are several shops with cashmere cloths. Prices are in dollars and tugriks.

It requires moderate level of trekking as it goes through wild areas of remote Taiga -the northernmost region. The beauty and the wilderness of the environment are amazing.

A view from Ulaanbaatar Airport to Ulaanbaatar city. Ulaanbaatar new airport, Changgis Khaan International Airport operate since 2021. It is a new airport, and further from the original airport. But the journey from airport to city is amazing.

#wecreate We flew from Ulaanbaatar to Incheon, Seul, with Asiana Airlines in business class. Their business lounge at Ulaanbaatar Airport was amazing, it was very spacious and comfortable. The staff did the check in for us and we were taken directly to our seats in the plane when the flight was ready for boarding. The business class seats in the plane were also great. Very cozy reclining seats and very attentive staff. The food was delicious and there was a good selection of entertainment choices. Totally recommended ❤️
