6 days and 5 nights: From Wuhan Yellow Crane Tower to Xiangyang OCT
Travel by high-speed train, which is very convenient in Wuhan. The subway goes directly to Baotong Temple. Choose the Ruijing Kerry Hotel near Dream Times, which is about a 5-minute walk to Dream Times.
Day 1: Skiing on the 8th floor of Dream Times. Beginners are advised to hire a coach. On the day of the event, the coach ticket can be upgraded to an unlimited time three-zone pass, which is quite cost-effective.
Day 2: In the morning, visit the Provincial Museum. Note that you need to make a reservation a few days in advance. Enter the museum at 9 am, head straight to the second floor to take a photo with the Sword of Goujian, then go down to book a volunteer guide. After forming a group at 10 am, follow the guide into the museum. The visit should be completed around 12 pm.
In the afternoon, the original plan was to go to Tanhualin, but due to the hot weather, we switched to the indoor Dreamland, which is also suitable for children. There are various performances and activities, and it is cool. After playing, you can choose from various foods in Dream Times. In the evening, visit Yellow Crane Tower. It is very crowded, but you can enter directly with the QR code after purchasing tickets online. There are many performances along the way, and you can follow them to the main building of Yellow Crane Tower. After watching the light show, you can enjoy the night view from Yellow Crane Tower.
Day 3: If you are only visiting Xiangyang from Jingzhou, driving is more convenient. Take the high-speed train to Xiangyang East Station, then take a taxi to the hotel for a short rest. In the evening, take a bus to the vicinity of the Bell and Drum Tower, stroll along North Street, and try the special chicken leg at Fengji BBQ. Walk to the city wall and enjoy the sunset for free.
Day 4: In the morning, visit Gulongzhong. Hiring a guide is necessary to learn about many historical stories. You can try the slide, which includes the cost of going up and down. If you want to visit Tenglong Pavilion, taking the slide up can save a lot of walking. Coming down, you can experience the thrill of the slide.
In the afternoon, visit Tangcheng. It is suitable for taking photos in ancient costumes. You can check the performance times on the official account, watch the performances, and take some photos in ancient costumes. The iron flower and fountain performances in the evening are very beautiful and should not be missed.
Day 5: Transfer to Yunhai Hotel in OCT. It is recommended to arrive early to store your luggage. Then, turn right out of the hotel and walk a few minutes to Fantasy Valley. Do not take the shuttle bus as it takes a long detour and you still have to walk a bit to enter the park. Staying at this hotel allows unlimited entry to the park within two days and you can enter the park half an hour earlier at 9 am. Once inside, buy a 30 yuan per person electric cart ticket for unlimited rides that day. This saves time and effort, especially for first-time visitors who are unsure which attractions to visit. Recommended attractions: Star Adventure, Time Rescue, Insect Nest Escape, and Dragon Journey. For thrill-seekers, try Da Vinci Flying and Snow Mountain Coaster. Performance shows: Alliance Arena, choose the 6:30 pm War God Awakening show, which has a storyline. The noon show is purely a stunt show and not as good as the afternoon one. Also, watch the seal and mermaid performances. There is a fireworks show at 8:30 pm, which is average.
Day 6: It is recommended to have breakfast early at the hotel. Do not expect too much as it is much worse compared to Chimelong. After breakfast, enter the park half an hour early to continue playing the attractions you missed or want to revisit. Leave the park around 11 am and head to the train station. If driving, you can play until the evening and then drive back to Jingzhou.
