🇯🇵 🏔️5-Day, 4-Night Tokyo Tour: Mt. Fuji Fall Foliage & Roppongi Illumination
🍁A trip to Lake Kawaguchi that comes during the autumn leaf season🍁
Go to Japan to eat, drink and have fun, relaxing picnic🇯🇵
Whether it is a family, or a couple
Tokyo is definitely a very suitable place believe me😎
In Tokyo, in just a few days you can eat the best food in Japan and feel the stunning scenery of the suburbs of Japan (the key is to see Mount Fuji itself 🏔️)
Even if you don't travel by car, it is very convenient to take the rail
Flights from Hong Kong can also arrive in just a few hours, if you leave work in the morning, you can go to the airport directly. Is there an excuse not to go?
Itinerary Reference:
You can plan a tour in the city for the first two days
The first day of the trip
It was already noon when we landed
First take the skyliner out of town to check-in at the hotel
This time I chose APA in Shinjuku
The room was fine enough to open a 28” suitcase
After everything is done, it will be 4 o'clock, and it will be lit early in winter
So plan the night trip directly
At night, I will go to Roppongi to see the lighting. Once I get out of JR station, the trees on both sides of the road are covered with romantic lights. Couples must go 👩❤️👨
提示:
In some months, there will be lights at night in Roppongi, remember to do a good information gathering before leaving!!
Then went to eat
Kabuki Ding and Shinjuku Golden Street (JR Shinjuku Station East Exit)
There are so many izakaya choices here, so I went straight when I saw the atmosphere
If the food is not good, change the venue, anyway, in Japan is to go to a few more 😌
(Must find an izakaya for a Highball😆)
the next day
Plan left to 📍Haude Temple, a temple that is all cats😽
Hautokuji Temple is located in the Setagaya district of Tokyo and is known as the birthplace of lucky cats~~
Open for worship hours:
6:00~18:00 (late March~)
6:00~17:00 (late September~)
The cost is free
🚄Transportation
From Shinjuku Station, take the Odakyu Line to Hautokuji Station and get off
Then walk for about 13 minutes
Then return to Shibuya 📍Shibuya Sky Observation Deck
The latest checkpoint must be visited~
🚄Transportation:
JR Yamanote Line Shibuya Station East Exit
*Remember to buy your admission ticket online in advance (noon time) for ¥1800
It wasn't dark yet at about 3 or 4, so I went to see it
📍Tokyo Tower
🚄Transportation:
About 15 minutes walk from JR "Yamanote Line Hamamatsucho Station/Northside Exit"
Personally, I don’t think I have enough time. It’s enough to go to the park under the Eiffel Tower to take pictures, and you can see the whole thing
📍Photo location:
Tokyo Shiba とうふ屋うかい
Day 3️⃣4️⃣ Depart Lake Kawaguchi 2 days 1 night
Day 3
In the morning take the Fuji return train directly from Shinjuku in about 2hrs
First get off at Shimoyoshida Station
The weather is extremely nice today. As soon as we get off the bus, the big Mount Fuji is in front of us😍
You can take photos at the popular shopping street photo spots (a long road with Mount Fuji in the background).
Then return to the station to take another ride to Kawaguchiko Station checkin hotel
📍Accommodation:
Mount Fuji Panorama Glamping
The one I stayed in wasn't some hot spring inn, because it was too late to find so there wasn't much choice
But at least it is called a platform, as soon as you get up you can see the view of Mount Fuji😌
And the rooms are large and fully equipped 👍🏻
Day 4
Early departure - Asama Shrine
Cover photo there
To take the ramp up the hill to the observation deck, you can see the view of the shrine + Mt
The view is super beautiful 😍😍 must go!
Then return to Kawaguchiko Station to catch the bus
1. Autumn Leaves
Personally, I don't think the autumn leaves are so beautiful. There are not many photo spots and there are many people
Unless you go early in the morning to avoid the crowds
2. Big Rock Park
Strolling by the lakeside, looking at the view of Mount Fuji is indeed great 👍🏻
Slowly walk and take pictures and it will be next night, so we take the bus back to the city~
You can't see the sunset in Oishi Park. It is recommended to change the attraction earlier
About Lake Kawaguchi:
Lake Kawaguchi is surrounded by many hotels, guesthouses, camps
Many can see Mount Fuji, near the lakeside some hot spring inns because the view is really completely Mount Fuji + lakeside, very popular, generally book a few months in advance, remember to plan your trip a little earlier!
restaurant
In fact, there aren’t many options, most revolving around Kawaguchiko Station
Generally close earlier, so try to eat early!!
🚄 Transportation to Lake Kawaguchi:
There are three ways to get to Lake Kawaguchiko by public transportation, the fastest and most convenient is to take the limited express train from Shinjuku Station, without fear of traffic jams, and the route is simple
Alternatively, you can opt for a self-drive tour for easy time management
After arriving at Lake Kawaguchi by public transportation, Lake Kawaguchi Station has different buses to different attractions
💡 There are different bus stops to different attractions, remember to pay attention
🚄Local transportation in Lake Kawaguchi
During the peak tourist season, the local congestion problem is serious
After queuing for 45 minutes to get on the bus, it took a long time to get to the attraction
Highly recommend self-drive tours!
Lake Kawaguchi Attractions:
Before arriving at Kawaguchiko Station, you can go to Yoshida and walk around the shopping street
Mount Fuji accompanied by many characteristic small shops The street is super special, a must!
The most famous of Lake Kawaguchi are Oishi Park and Asamajinji Temple
You can see the beautiful screen of Mount Fuji🗻
The autumn leaves of Mount Fuji in picture 1 were taken at Asama Shinji Temple
The scenery is stunning🫨
The fifth day
In the morning, take a quick left and turn left at Sensoji Temple
A large lantern with the character Reimon at the entrance
After passing through the lantern there is one big straight road, lined all with shops, with sweet and, with ornaments
I bought the souvenir prefect at this time 👍🏻
After walking through all the shops, you will see the real place to worship~~
The place is not big, it takes about 1.5 hours to walk, which is enough for 1 hour without shopping
Then after breakfast nearby we take a bus to the airport back to Hong Kong ✈️
Advice about accommodation🏠
For my day out in the city I chose to stay in Ikebukuro (a relatively quiet area).
However, there is a little inconvenience for travel, having to deliberately transfer back
Or you can consider staying in Shinjuku, which is more accessible 👍🏻
⚠️Note: ⚠️
Travel in Japan, especially in Tokyo
Many restaurants, or specialty lodging inns require advance booking, the famous ones even have a chance to need to book three months to a half in advance, so remember to process in advance
It is also recommended to purchase tickets for special trains to Lake Kawaguchi at the station two days in advance!!️
There are not many restaurants in the evening in Lake Kawaguchi, and they close relatively early
It is recommended to have dinner a little earlier
Warm reminder 🥰
Wallet on iPhone can add Suica card (similar to Octopus in Hong Kong).
After adding you can use your credit card to recharge directly, you can use this card locally to ride the rail, eat, shop, etc. Very worth recommending to you to add in advance on your mobile phone
You need to pay attention when eating in some restaurants in Japan If you want to take pictures or videos, remember to get the consent of the shopkeeper
Some meals can only be photographed on the food, not the environment
Some are completely unphotographable
Remember to understand first, respect others, respect yourself
Also, there are no trash cans in many places in Japan, and every time I bring my own bag for trash, then find the trash can and throw it all over again
Japanese aerial photography regulations are very strict, remember to apply online in advance!

There are really countless varieties in Tokyo
