The National Palace has a tour only at specific times every day; the interior of the National Art Museum is very classic and beautiful; the Palace of Art has the best murals; Palacio Postal just pass by and take a look, unfortunately the most beautiful part is now blocked. · 【Day 2 Modern Architecture】 📍Biblioteca Vasconcelo - Casa Gilardi - Casa Estudio Luis Barragán - Museo Suomaya Vasconcelo Library is like a dream space and also like a four-dimensional space in Interstellar. Both casas are works by famous Mexican architect Luis Barragan. Gilardi is currently a residence and must be booked in advance. Estudio can queue on site. Both are super beautiful and can gain a lot of decoration inspiration. I spent five days in this melting pot and here’s what i recommend for a short stay in the city: 1️⃣ Explore Condesa and Roma Norte Known for being two of the safest neighborhoods in the city, both districts are havens for food lovers and photography enthusiasts. 2️⃣ Get Lost in the Historic Center Centro Histórico is a busy neighborhood in CDMX with a huge square known as the Zócalo at its center. You can really feel how old the city is in this area particularly at the Templo Mayor Museum. After a morning at the museum, wander the countless streets surrounding the cathedral or enjoy the views of the Palacio de Bellas Artes from the Finca Don Porfirio Cafe. 3️⃣ Chapultepec Castle Immerse yourself in Mexico City’s history at this extravagant castle. You can hire a guide or explore by yourself for around $5. The views from the terrace of Mexico City’s business district are incredible. 4️⃣ Tacos and Bikes One of my favorite experiences in CDMX. A knowledgeable foodie from El Taco Club will guide you around Condesa and Roma to taste some of the city’s best tacos. The tour combines food, sightseeing, and biking. I never knew there were so many different types of tacos until I took this tour! 5️⃣ Torre Latinoamérica Marvel at the sheer size of CDMX from above. The city sprawls out in all directions and the view is best enjoyed at sunset. Tickets are around 10$ and i recommend buying them there as buying them online in advance can cause problems. 6️⃣ Coyoacán A vibrant neighborhood south of downtown known for Frida Kahlo’s blue house. The queue can be quite long to get into the museum but there’s so much to do in this neighborhood. Take your camera and go on a street photography tour or enjoy some shopping at a local market. 🏨 Where to stay: La Condesa is considered one of the safest areas in CDMX and it’s very popular with tourists! We visited the Museum of Palacio Bellas Artes, entry was free for students with valid ID, otherwise 95 Pesos. The exhibition in the 1st and 2nd floor was quite nice featuring completely different themes and artists. 1st floor contains a lot of french art and features some very known artist like Van Gogh for example, 2nd floor got more concentrated on Mexican art in a specific way. The 3rd floor costs 70 Pesos additional entry per person, but is free of charge on Sundays. Would definitely recommend to visit on a Sunday, because the rest of the exhibition alone isn't too big.🕰️Business Hours:

Mexico City Adventure on the Cable Car 🚡🌆 On the way back to the city from the pyramids, I found out where the cable car was and immediately decided to get off and try this unexpected trip. It happened that Indios Verdes was one of the starting points for the MRT and cable car, so I got off the bus at will and started my high-altitude sightseeing in Mexico City. Before entering the cable car station, you must first buy a transportation card for 22 pesos (about NT$40). Unfortunately, this card is non-refundable! The whole process of purchasing the card was only in Spanish, so I directly asked the guard at the station to help me with the operation. A single cable car ride only costs 7 pesos (approximately NT$12), which is incredibly cheap. After getting on the bus, I thought I would have to swipe my card on the return trip, but it turned out that I didn’t need to at all. I just got off the bus and walked directly to the opposite side and took a ride back! The Cablebús Line 1 I took this time was the longest cable car ride I have ever taken. The whole trip took about an hour, and the ticket price was less than NT$15. It was a real profit 😂! Unlike the previous cable car rides I took that were on mountains or on the sea, this one was traveling through the city, overlooking the streets of Mexico City from the air, passing through residential rooftops, highways, and overlooking the mountains in the distance. It feels like I have captured the daily life of the entire city. Bored? Doesn't exist! After the cable car ended, I continued walking to the city center to refresh myself with a cup of coffee. I originally wanted to go to the famous roof top cafe Finca Don Porfirio, which is located on the 8th floor of the department store and boasts an unparalleled view overlooking the beautiful Palacio de Bellas Artes. But when I arrived, the line of people seemed to be attending some grand event. I gave up immediately when I saw the number of people. So, I decided to walk to the bedding store next to the department store, because it also had huge floor-to-ceiling windows with beautiful views of the Palace of Fine Arts, and it felt like a good alternative. After taking a few photos, I left. I didn’t get to eat at the cafe, but the scenery was still rewarding. Then I walked to the Miralto View Restaurant in the city, which is located on the 41st floor of Torre Latinoamericana. This building is one of the landmarks of Mexico City, with a height of 183 meters and a total of 44 floors. It was once one of the earliest skyscrapers in the world. It has also survived many earthquakes in Mexico City and still stands firm. It is a miraculous building. Although the ticket to the observation deck on the 42nd floor costs 200 pesos, you can enjoy the same high-altitude beauty for only 100 to 500 pesos when dining at Miralto. Although the food is a bit ordinary and the price is a bit expensive, I have to say that the scenery here is still worth the price! Be careful when bringing luggage! Although the Mexican subway is cheap and convenient, the experience is not that friendly if you are dragging luggage. Because most stations have no elevators at all, and even escalators are rare, climbing stairs is the norm! Especially at stations with a lot of traffic, it’s so crowded that you have nowhere to escape😅. It is recommended that friends with luggage choose other means of transportation, otherwise they will have to compete with a group of people for space! 2. Is there a market inside the subway car? ! I have never seen such a lively subway car as in Mexico!
