📢 UNESCO has certified "Korat Geopark" as the 4th Global Geopark in the world, making history for Thailand as one of the 4 provinces in the world that has the "3 Crowns of UNESCO" in the same province. 🌿

A natural world heritage site, "Dong Phaya Yen-Khao Yai Forest Complex" is a conservation forest with a combined area of approximately 6,200 sq. km. or approximately 3.8 million rai, consisting of Khao Yai National Park, Tap Lan National Park, Pang Sida National Park, Ta Phraya National Park, and Dong Yai Wildlife Sanctuary.

The World Biosphere Reserve or Sakaerat Environmental Research Station is a research center for plant species in the northeastern forest area and is open to interested groups to organize ecological field trips. The area is a dry evergreen forest and dry dipterocarp forest, where many types of wildlife can be found. Whether it is wild boar, wild chicken, Phraya Lo pheasant, and various birds

The Global Geopark or Khorat Geopark is a geographical area where the landscape and geological sites are of international value, including other natural sites with important cultural sites related to geological sites and holistic management services in terms of conservation, education, and sustainable development, with local communities participating in bottom-up management, linking local identities.
🚩 Khorat Geopark covers 5 contiguous districts in the central to lower Lam Takhong River basin, namely Mueang District, Si Khiu District, Sung Noen District, Kham Thale So District, and Chaloem Phra Kiat District. It has the landscape of Khao Questa (Khao Rup Ito).
🚩 There are tourist attractions to visit, including Sakaerat Environmental Research Station, Si Khiu Stone Cut Site, which is a source of sandstone raw materials from ancient humans, and Wat Lert Sawat (Khao Chan Ngam), which is rich in both cultural and natural resources.
